Great pocket tripod for Micro 43 cameras
I use this tripod with a Panasonic Lumix G2. It's strong enough to handle my camera with the 45-200mm zoom lens and works great. The tripod folds up to be no bigger than a pocket knife and fits in the side pocket of my camera case. Because it folds and pivots, you can also leave it attached to the base of your camera. It folds flush against the camera and is so small that my camera still fits in my case. Amazing little tripod! I also bought 3 more and gave them as Christmas gifts. I love them!

Useful and portable, get adapters for your phone
Great quality and the tension on the ball joint for swivel is very good, the tilt on this product is limited good for table top use . Will work on small hand held and or point and shots as long as they have the screw mount. You will definitely get stopped in airports should you keep this in your carry on. I’ve have to fan out and demonstrate the products capabilities with numerous airport security , it’s always fun

Good, but not perfect
This tripod does a really good job of being low-profile and unobtrusive, and is good for setting up quick shots. However, there are just a couple things that could be improved.First, with larger lenses, the footprint of the tripod feels just a bit too small, and it's impossible to position it without the camera being able to tip fairly easily in one direction or the other.Second, the base of the screw mount lacks a rubber washer or something similarly grippy to lock the screw in place. the ball joint is a bit stiff (which is good for keeping the camera upright), but the tripod has a tendency to unscrew itself when it's being adjusted.Other than that, it does its job well, and fits into most cases without any issues.

Works fairly well, but does not hold up the ...
Works fairly well, but does not hold up the weight of Olympus OMD E-M5 mirrorless camera with either the 12-50mm nor the 40-150mm lens attached.Even with experimenting with a variety of different options with the legs, it still moves from the weight of the camera. Also, it does not stay stable or in position if using the shutter button with a delayed release (2s or 12s)I had high hopes for this, but reality after 4 different outings with this tripod for waterfalls, old cars, sidewalk shots, and hiking, it simply does not hold the camera in position or stable.

I cant tell you how disappointed I was to find out that I would have ...
Quality, but no adjustment! What can I say. I have used lens caps, matches', sugar packages and .... to adjust a camera and lens sitting on a rocks, fence post, tables, and walls for decades. I cant tell you how disappointed I was to find out that I would have to do the same with this device. No horizontal or vertical adjustment! Nicely made and compact, but pretty much worthless in real life.

Joby Micro Tripod Where Have You Been All My Life??
Joby Micro Tripod, where have you been all my life? I can’t tell you how many times I have ended up with crummy shots because I did not have my tripod. Let’s face it; tripods are often bulky and inconvenient to carry around. This little tripod is small and light weight. You can easily fit it in your camera bag, or even your back pocket. But better yet, you can just leave it attached to your camera. It is small enough that you don’t notice it attached to your camera. But don’t let the size fool you! This little tripod is solid and sturdy. I am totally confident having my camera on it. It stays completely still and steady. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the package was how solid it felt. Not cheap at all. Heavy enough for my Nikon D3200, but lightweight enough to easily carry around. The legs have hard rubber tips non slip design. The tripod screws right into your camera with no problem. It also easily swivels and tilts to whatever angle you need it to. When you are done with it, just collapse the legs and turn them to the side, and forget about it until the next time you need it.Of course, there are times when a traditional tripod is called for. But when you need to pack light, and you have something to conveniently place the Joby Micro Tripod on for whatever height you need to achieve, it is so convenient. I really love this little tripod!!

total disappointment
after all those great reviews i finally got this relatively expensive tripod. and what?1. it's heavy. this is good for tall tripods for stability, but not for ultraportable ones2. it has a loosy mount that tends to umnount every time i want to fold it. this is my biggest complain and it make me nervous. it's a construction problem because of this tripod DOES NOT have any rubber or plastic for increased friction preventing unscrewing.3. adjustment angle is so small that i think i don't have it all.4. if you have plastic screen protection on you SONY NEX you will always accidently hit the edge and break it off.my 1-dollar noname tripod can give this super-brand-name a "one mile head start"absolutely waste of money.will not recommend this to my friend.
