Good choice for new players
(Had to rewrite this due to some issue with the last one)Commander 2016 in it's entirety has been a very good set and the Atraxa deck is a very good purchasing choice out of the line up for those who want a strait forward and simple introduction to commander. To clarify the reason on the higher cost for this deck vs the other options, currently wizards sells the decks as a set to retailers and due to the popularity of the breed lethality deck the pricing will be higher than the others. So what is good about this deck vs the other options that is making it popular?1) The commander is incredibly easy to understand. Basically, she is a simple four color Baneslayer angel that has an added ability to proliferate, or add counters or tokens every turn to cards that already have a counter on them. For those who don't play the game, a counter in magic the gathering is a tallying construct used to keep track of a numeric value, and the mechanic of the card in question determines what kind of benefit or detriment the counter provides. For example, Managorger Hydra gets a token that boosts it's power and toughness by 1 each time a player plays a card from his or her hand other than playing a land card, and a card like Nissa, Voice of Zendikar can get a counter from using the first ability printed on her card. Since there are so many different kinds of counters in magic Atraxa is a very flexible option as a commander.2) Her base deck is very simple. Play creatures and build their strength up with +1/+1 counters while proactively removing threatening cards on the opponents side of the field through cards like Mortify. This makes it an easy to understand deck for new players of the game.3) Atraxa is a call back to one of the most popular and powerful sets printed in Magic the Gathering, being a reference to the Scars of Mirrodin block and New Phyrexia in particular.Needless to say, if you have trouble finding it online for MSRP try to look locally first. Otherwise, keep it bookmarked on amazon as the price should drop a little as time goes on.

Massively overpriced.
MSRP $35... this price is ridiculous. This product will get reprinted into oblivion and they want nearly twice the price
