Remember when...
Complex, aggressive, and beautiful. I understand that Opeth has grown up, and is far less aggressive, and only uses clean singing now. And if that's your thing, that's ok. However, I'm always gonna prefer this version of Opeth. Even if you don't purchase the physical version of this album, find a way to listen to it. It's brilliant...

One of my favorite Opeth Albums!
Blackwater Park is a phenomenal album. Following the criminally underrated Still Life, the production (which made a significant leap, IMO) and musicianship on display are hallmarks of Opeth's greatness. The title track is epic!

Without doubt the Best album Opeth have made. Nothing they have recorded since has topped this amazing album. I'd go so far as to say that its one of the Best albums EVER, by any band.
