NAR is the leader in combat application tourniquet, often copied but never matched. A little pricey, but your life should be worth it. Learn how to use these and keep several available.Excellent construction, easy to use under duress, (if you practiced) and can save a life.

These are legit CAT tourns and for a good deal. Tested with scenario and they preformed. Recommend buying orange for vehicle storage. Easier to see.

*I am NOT a professional*Fortunately, I have not had reason to break into my supply of NAR consumables and I hope that that continues.The only time I do use their products is when I am able to afford and attend civilian emergency medical training courses. I have been to three over the last five years (again I am not an expert /journeyman on anything medical related) and each time, those groups have elected to use NAR as the materials to train with.So my review is this: I trust these materials because my instructors trust these materials. My instructors have been former USCG rescue swimmers, USAF pararesucemen, USA 18D’s and Navy corpsman (FMF or “green side” docs). The packaging is sterile, easy to access and there are even instructions on the packaging for folks like me who may go blank when the adrenaline is pumping from having to do the real thing.I’m only here to encourage those looking for good kit to read the professional reviews here so that they can make the best decision for themselves. Quality product that delivers. Seems sturdy but I'm not bleeding out at the moment. These are the industry benchmark product. You ask yourself is their really thirty dollars per unit value there? Is there really that high of production cost. I know the manufacturer reply that going cheaper could cost your life and fail. I would say that if your heart is into saving peoples lives in traumatic situations why not cut costs to ensure its available to more people and not going with cheaper alternatives. Solid simple product and would probably buy more, just concerned on the profit margins this product is justifying..
