Where? Board book – January 7, 2014

I liked this little board book and used it along with Mary Murphy's Quick Duck in a lesson on prepositions (grammar through picture books... what could be better) as well as in a Philosophy lesson on Lao-Tzu and the Tao. Think of any preposition... the Tao is that. In this book, that would be words like BETWEEN, OVER, BEHIND, and INSIDE. In Mary Murphy's book that would be words like UNDER, AROUND, DOWN, and THROUGH. Those simple pictures books are illustrated very sweetly, easy for toddlers to follow, tremendous fun to act out. There's not a lot of plot but that's because of their target audience. Two year olds (and middle school students in my Philosophy class).

I love Leo lionni but this book was quite unimpressive.

同じ作者の別の本を２冊持っていますが、この本よりページ数が多くお話も良いです。息子がこの本を自分で読んでる姿を見たことがないです。お気に入りの他の本は噛んでボロボロですが、この本は奇麗なままです。残念。
