I brought this for my Mother who has a hammer toe and she says it is lovely and soft and easy for her to use as she has rheumatoid arthritis so it was easy for her to control the tightness on her toes

Assists in the support of toes giving support. Feels a bit restrictive after a long time so remove to get movement back.

My 3 middle toes are slightly bent under and they hurt. I have been to an orthopedic surgeon and he has offered me surgery where they cut into the toes stretch tendons or break the toe knuckle and insert pins which will be removed after the toes have fused in a straightened position. This procedure is not always successful and the hammer toe can return. I have Ms and struggle with walking. Recovery from this can take 6 mts and I can't risk being off my foot for any length of time. So I looked for other solutions. I saw these toe straps and thought this could be the answer. Disappointed is an understatement. Unless you have fat long toes don't bother with these. I can fit 3 toes in the loop and they fall off. So for me they don't work. My search will continue. There are 10 straps in this packet. What to do with them. Staking plants maybe!. Hope this can give some guidance.

I have found these toe tapes to be useful for two different situations recently, the first being when I myself managed to stub my toe in such a way that it felt like I had sheared my toe from my foot ( my one toe aent in one direction around the foot of the sofa whilst the rest of my foot the other. I thought I had broken my toe but in hindsight it was very badly bruised. So these straps are a strip of soft elastic with teeth or hooks on a plastic end. The area you contain your toes is a pre-sewn loop that you slide your toes into. Now other reviewers have said they are too big but I found if I used a firm but soft toe spacer between it offered a bit of support or help to fill the loop. I even put a protective cover arou d said toe when wearing shoes. You then strap it up.These also make great finger splints for potentially broken or badly bruised fingers too to strap up before heading to A&E with. I found that two was enough to support top and bottom as well as usin a lollipop stick between for support. This is one thing to have in a first aid box just incase.

I wanted to keep my second toe straight to stop it clicking into a clawed position.The loop is big enough to get 2 toes in and is stitched so can’t be tightened up.The plastic tab sits awkwardly between toes.The material is nice and soft.

They work for a while but then become incredibly painful

Too big for toe, but when you trim they just fray. Sooo uncomfortable. Don’t do what I bought them for. Waste of money

I have tried many brands but these are the absolute best I've ever used. These don't break when pulled onto my toes. Great product!

I broke my pinky toe and I cut the band down to size, it still fell off. They seem like they would be great for the longer toes but definitely not for pinky toes.
