Exo TerraSmall Compact Canopy Top 45 cm

Great canopy but it does not come with bulbs...Don't buy Exo Terra bulbs at £20 each - go to B&Q and buy the equivalent at £5.95 each

Exo Terra PT2226 Small Compact Top Canopy, 45 cm This is a very cheaply made item. I have purchased three of these for Christmas and all have been faulty due to very poor quality lampholders that do not make proper contact with the correct bulbs. The side contact does not make contact with the bulb and the only way to get the unit to work is to correct the contact. Obviously not something we should need to do. It’s good and fits perfect on the top, it’s the full width of my terrarium but the only thing is it’s only got one switch that turns both bulbs on so I’ve got to take one of em out so they’re not both on all the time which defeats the point of having more than one bulb, I could of got the smaller one and just swapped em over.

Check the dimensions. No way would this be considered small.

Expensive for what it is and I also didnt realise how limiting it is to what bulbs you can use and how the bulbs to fit can be hard to find!
