Work well - but expensive
These hot tool straighteners arrive well packaged and look the part. Seems to be a upcoming brand with a signature purple look to there products. Now the straighteners themselves are what you expect, a swivel plug terminating in a adaptor for which you can swap out the UK plug for an EU one as its dual voltage (need small screwdriver though). On the straightener is a on/off switch and a pair of buttons to increase and decrease the temperature along with a LED screen up top.Temp wise as 14 steps going up to 230 degrees for thicker hair and able to drop down to lower temps for fragile hair. The LED screen will help to highlight the temp its set to. Now in terms of use, it does warm up quick, through hotter temps as expected take longer to reach. The LED screen is clean and easy to read. Importantly the plates themselves feel relatively smooth (not the smoothest mind). Now for use, I set it to 230 as I have thick wavy hair and away I went. Honestly, end result works as well as a bunch of older straighteners I have which start with G and end in H. They are light and easy to hold and done a good job in my hair with no complain of note. Now I have used newer straighter since my comparison older devices that do glide through my hair slightly smoother,. but for most, these will work very well. Now downside for me is the price, which makes me seem a bit of a hypocrite comparing to older but more expensive straighter, but to be honest, at time of writing, these are £70 and I have used products in the £50 range which are as effective. In some cases they lack the LED screen and highlight the temp via small bars, but performance wise are as effective. Your paying a premium here for the looks, the LED screen and temp adjustment range. There is also a nice bonus in that it has a 3-year limited warranty which is actually respectable for this price range. So overall would give it a 4.5, slightly expensive, but does have some nice value adds / warranty that mean its not astronomically overpriced either.

Adequate mid range hair straighteners
This pair of hair straighteners come in a very high quality purple with gold highlighted box. They would make a perfectly good gift item for the right recipient. They are a beautiful purple colour with a smooth and high quality feeling, very tactile outer body with a small backlit LCD panel that shows the status and temperature. They heat up evenly and plenty quickly enough to be useable every day. They are about half the price of GHD straighteners and it is fair to say they are not as good either but they are a lot better than many on the market. This is very controllable in that you can set an exact temperature to use, which is a lot more reassuring than blocks or bars on a scale. The gold plated titanium pads are quite small so will have to work hard if you have thick or long hair. The power-cord has a 360 degree revolving connection to the straighteners and a European two pin plug cleverly concealed inside a UK 3 pin plug at the other end, though you do have to use a screwdriver to set the Euro-plug free. These would make a perfectly good set of straighteners to take on holiday and use for a week or two in the sun getting good enough results without risking losing your favourite more expensive everyday ones from home in your luggage. These are a good mid range product for a fair mid range price imho especially when you factor in the 3 year warranty included in the price. Good straighteners
These straighteners work really well. They heat up so quickly, and I really liked that they have a real time temperature gauge so you can see exactly how hot they are. I also like that it has a wide range of temperatures to choose from. These made my hair look nice and straightened it well but they did tug at my hair a bit. Not in a way that made my hair feel like it was caught, but my hair didn't just glide through them like it does with GHDs. I don't know if that is a problem or not, or if it would cause damage. The cord isn't as flexible as other straighteners I have used - it's not a huge problem but just means that the straightener can move a bit when you put it down on a surface if the cable isn't aligned properly.I do think these are a good product but would want to keep an eye on my hair condition to see if the plates cause any damage with the tugging. But I think these are reasonably priced for what they offer.

Mrs is very happy with this
My wifey was using a really really old one from another country and she rarely took it out from the drawer as she felt it wasn't effective enough so the effort was wasted. She was very happy when I ordered this for her and although she doesn't like too much colour and fluff in stuff but this was in acceptable shape for her haha. It heated up quick and you can see the progress in the screen as well. What she didn't have on a previous one and was delighted to see the realtime progress on this one. It's good that you can set the temperature for your hair so you can fine tune it for your liking. I like the dual plug on this one as it's always a trouble when you are on holiday or for us when we are visiting family, although it is a bit bulky like that. All in all she was impressed with it and feels that a higher price tag worth it

It is good for occasional use but not powerful enough for regular.
It does the job in the end but takes a long time. I must say that my wife has used the top end straighteners so keep this in mind. There are few things that probably are not effective. Straightener tongs are narrow hence the surface touching the hair to straight is not enough to as much as our different brand straighteners. Secondly I don't like the dual plug adopter as it looks like a two pin European plug is sandwich into 3 pin UK plug.It doesn't Heat up enough as my wife and daughter use it on regular basis and like to get their hair straight as soon as possible. With this my wife said her arms were tired holding it for so long.I have given fair 3 stars for the product which reflects its ability and design. Probably OK for first straighteners or for a student.
