Best thing ever for my tripawd!!!
I don't remember if I bought these on Amazon. I stocked up when I got them.My dog Charlie suffered an FCE (stroke of the spine) 9 years ago. He was totally paralyzed. With hydrotherapy and acupuncture her recovered in three legs. We had his dragging limb amputated. He continues to have neurological deficits in hind legs.Having a tripawd now , I can't speak highly enough of these boots! They give him the traction he needs. They give him confidence and mobility. In the summer, he wouldn't be able to negotiate the slick wood on our deck without them. In the house, he can negotiate hard uncarpeted surfaces. We put them on anytime he's going to be up and about. I don't know what we'd do without them! They are a bit tricky to get on. It takes practice. I've been doing it so long now, it's a piece of cake. He's very accustom to having them put on. He's only a 20lb'er, so I can sit him in my lap when putting them on. There is a tool that can be purchased to assist. My husband uses it. Not sure the tool would work on very large paws. They are VERY durable. Not like a balloon. They last many many months for us. Although, in his old age, he's not an active dog. They are not breathable, so I don't leave them on for hours.Bonus is his feet stay clean when we go out on our rural property. We will never be without them! Thank you PAWZ!!!

SWOLLEN PAWS - DO NOT USE!!!!!
First, I received a package that had already been opened with 5 Pawz missing, but this review is not regarding that experience- this review is for the product only. My family was going camping on an island for the weekend, so I got these for my 12 lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to protect her paws from the hot sand, sharp shells, and fiberglass canoe bottom. I tried them out briefly at the house to make sure they fit her and to see if she would wear them; I found them easy to get on and off, and found that they were a bit snug around the top, but didn't seem too bad. She took to them in about 30 seconds, and was quickly darting around the house with her new traction. She seemed to love them. I thought they were perfect.Fast forward to two days later, when we used them for their intended purpose. I had them on her for about 5-6 hours, and they seemed to be holding up very well- I had just trimmed her nails, so there was no wear there. They stood up to the beach and the wooded areas of the island with no rips or tears. I was so happy they were working! Then, I noticed she was walking with a limp. I took off the Pawz to investigate, thinking maybe she got a thorn or something, and all of her little paws were so swollen! Her paw pads, toes, everything- the whole paw below the ankle where this thing covered was about twice the size they normally are. She never gave any indication at all that they were bothering her! Never whined or messed with them, never even paid them notice. I felt HORRIBLE. I didn't even consider the fact that dogs will often not give any indication when something is bothering them. She was MISERABLE for the rest of the trip- she could hardly walk, and spent most of the time hiding out under the picnic table. I carried her everywhere for the rest of the trip. It took TWO DAYS for her to stop limping and for her paw size to go back to normal. I am so worried at what lasting damage I could have caused by using these wretched things! They DID NOT seem too tight for her- in fact, I found it pretty easy to get a finger under the band to remove them.DO NOT USE THESE! These should not be on the market. If you decide the use of this product is still worth the risk of the lasting damage it could do to your beloved pup, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION to your dog's behavior while he/she is wearing them. If there is ANY indication whatsoever of adverse effects, IMMEDIATELY DISCONTINUE USE!

Pawz work so well, I'm telling everyone I know!
Yes, they look like balloons! But so what, if they work!My Lucy is a 12 lb rescue Poodle from the south, this was her first snow experience and she didn't love the snow at all. I got these boots, and she runs around leaping and playing and running as hard as she can, having a ball, with no problems at all. I had to learn the best way to put them on, but after a couple of trys, they go on very easily. I've had 1 box for a month, and she's still using the same 4 boots that I started her on, so they last forever. I rinse them every time I use them. Don't leave them on after you come inside, moisture can build up inside the boot.I can imagine that the larger the dog, the more boots you would go through, but for small dogs, these are fabulous. She's not at all bothered by them.Putting them on, if you are right handed:If possible, put the dog on a table or counter. That's easy with little guys.Using both hands, put 2 fingers of the left hand and the middle finger of the right hand just inside the lip of the boot and hold the opening open. With your thumb and index finger of the right hand, snag a foot and insert in the boot. Make sure you insert far enough so the boot goes up as far as it can.Give a treatRepeat for the other 3 feet.If you are left handed, I would imagine you would use the same instructions but opposite hands. They pull off relatively easily with a tug and a snap. Rinse the salt and sand off the outside, and drain til dry. If you need to rinse out the inside, be sure to let them dry completely upside down so moisture doesn't collect and stay inside the bootPros:InexpensiveLast a long timeDon't annoy the dog so they don't try to pull them offIf one gets lost, so what, they are disposable and inexpensiveEasy to put on once you try a couple of timesEveryone comments on how adorable she is in her boots (she's adorable anyway, but I'm okay with people smiling and enjoying it)No salt in her pawsKeeps ice out from between the padsCons:Can't think of any

Dog very happy with these.
These are simple to put on and our dog is happy when his paws are protected from salt and snow packing in his paws. He romps around in the snow with no problems and is not in the least bothered by the boots, which have always stayed on him.Simple to put on,and simple to take off. They will be damaged if walking/running on gravel, but we just reverse them and use the other side.He hates any other type of stiffer boots. No point buying fancier boots if he will not wear them.

These have been great for our needs
Our boy cuts his paws a lot. I bought these to keep a cut dry and clean on walks as it’s been so wet and muddy. For walks where he is sniffing and pottering around they’re great. Keep his feet dry, clean and don’t come off. When he ran after his ball it did split. So I wouldn’t recommend for dogs that run around a lot. The second day after these arrived he cut another paw so badly that it needed stitches. These equally were great over his bandage to keep it dry and clean. And have really helped with his recovery. We’ve been using them for a week. The first one we used as I said split. After that we’ve reused the same one for nearly a week before it got a tiny hole. So these should last us a while too which is great. Other reviews mentioned they are tight around the top so I ordered XL as he had big feet anyway and these are fine. He walks normal and isn’t bothered by it at all.

Lo he devuelto.

I salva zampe!!
