Great tool
Used this specifically to remove carpeting from several rooms. This tool cuts through carpet like a hot knife through butter, makes a dirty job so much easier and faster. Carpet is easier to remove after it’s been cut into manageable sections. Highly recommend.

Love this Cutter
I had to take out an entire house (1400 Square feet of carpet). The blade was ready for the trash by the time I got through with it but it worked really well and cut through the carpet like butter. I found the best way was to cut the carpet from the back side. Start at one end of the room pull it up a section maybe 5 feet and roll it to the back side then hook the blade on the edge of the carpet and pull towards you letting the blade do the work. when getting near the end of the cut - about two feet from the end just hook the blade on the other edge and pull towards the cut already made (saved the wood work and walls from nicks). It was faster to cut the section of carpet then it was to roll up the piece up and tie it. It took maybe 20 seconds to cut 12 feet. Towards the end of the job it was maybe taking 25-30 seconds to cut the same 12 feet. I bought another one just to have on hand.

Works awesome on roof shingles!!!
This thing works great! I mainly use it for roofing on my Makita 18v multitool. Cuts through timberline shingles like butter. I honestly was hesitant after reading other reviews but this thing shaves so much time off roofing jobs i will definitely be buying again! Haven't tried it on carpet yet but i dont think i would as a regular hook knife blade cuts just fine for me.

Venture to Say That if You Could Only Have One Attachment, This May Be It
This attachment is so badass.... There's really not a lot to say about it....if you need a tool to grab or cut or even some slicing this can do the trick. It is good for odd spaces and unique tasks. But you can tell that by its design, which is why we purchase it.What I will say, is that it's got the Dremel name on it...'nuff said. It's well made, strong as Babe the Blue Ox, and worth every penny that I spent on it. I like these type of tools that can multi-task, and this one is certainly up for that. Add it to your toolbox, close the lid and forget it. Sooner than later, you'll be glad it's in there.

Made short work of cutting out old carpet
I used the hook to slice commercial grade glue down carpet. Like cutting butter. Saved on the hand blisters.

Perfect!
Awesome. It cut through the carpet like a hot knife in butter. Definitely would recommend. Shipping was quick. Nicely packaged and a good price. Doesn't feel flimsy of cheap even though the price is affordable.

Saved time.
I'm renovating the rooms in my house. All rooms have wall to wall carpet. I was cutting the perimeter with a razor knife to expose & remove the tackless strips and leave the rest of the carpet to serve as a drop cloth. The razor knife got the job done; however, cutting was tough from the pile side. I ordered the multiknife hoping to make the cutting job easier.Bottom line, I wish I had the blade from the beginning. It eliminates the effort needed to cut the carpet; straight cuts are easy because your not pulling the knife; and it is so much faster to complete the cutting.Recommended.

Cuts like a hot knife through butter!
This was amazing! I reshingled my roof and used this to cut the shingles. Cut through them like a hot knife through butter. I only needed two blades for a 20 square roof, and there's still life left on the second blade. I will definitely buy this again if neededfor any other projects.

The best cutting blade for my multi-tool.
I saw a YouTube video of someone doing a home project and they were using this blade. I loved how easy it cut the various soft materials he had. Cardboard, carpet, and even a Homer bucket from orange box place. In researching this blade, I found other videos of people using it and the versatility of it is what made me get this. The blade is quite sharp and it is made of some thick metal, which I found difficult to bend. This tells me it will surely do the tasks I will be asking of it.I highly recommend this blade, as it's more compact than the DeWalt blade (DWA4214), meaning it can do more patterned cuts, whereas the DeWalt is great for doing straighter cuts. This Dremel blade will certainly be the most used blade I own.

If I could give it more stars I would
I can't believe I've been roofing 17 years and I never heard of such a Thing. It works amazingly well For cutting Into old torch on membrane for tearing off. Cuts like a hot knife through melted butter Its insane

Didn't fit the quick change DeWalt.
Looks like it would fit my DeWalt quick change but the opening is too small. I'll try grinding it a bit wider.
