RC Black Leather Wallet: By Rachel Cruze Leather Bound – October 16, 2016

This wallet was a gift from my husband. I was super excited thinking it would be a great divider for cash and envelopes. The zipper broke within a week and VERY sharp on the hands. I noticed right away I couldn't even fit a couple cards/DL, let alone the "clips" for separating cash so was not due to being too full. I continued to use without a zipper (because it would just separate) and now stopped using as it doesn't open very far and now obviously doesn't close because zipper separates/gets stuck. This item was quite expensive to begin with and of terrible quality. The clips also broke right away - very cheap and you can't use them IN the wallet anyway with money because they DO NOT fit. Huge design flaw with wallet, zipper issue, and poor quality. Extremely disappointed - I would not recommend purchasing this wallet.

I generally do not spend a lot of money on a wallet but I really like the clip system idea and the different compartments. I have had this wallet for almost 4 months and have enjoyed using it, however, the zipper broke this week. It is frustrating to spend this much money on a wallet and have a poor quality zipper. I wouldn't recommend this wallet. It appears, from the other reviews, that the zipper is the number one complaint. Rachel may want to rethink her design.

I absolutely love this wallet!! And I'm not a wallet person. My money and cards fit perfectly and I feel very organized with it. Plus it looks great and feels very expensive. Easy to carry around since it's not so thick and fits in my purse well. That being said the reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the zipper pull tab. I loved that piece because it was sturdy and pretty but I hated how it was one of those you had to attach on yourself making it more likely to come off. Which it did and I lost it and I haven't even had the wallet for a week at this point. Wish the zipper pull tab would have been built into it like it does on the one on the inside for the coins. So frustrating! I tried to take a tool to squeeze it shut to keep it from falling off but it was so strong that it wouldn't budge and I was afraid I'd damage the zipper itself or something. I was going to work on it again later but by that point I had lost it. So if you buy this wallet make sure to get that tab attached well or watch it. It didn't slide off too easy but there were a couple of times when I pulled it to zip it up and it came out and another time I did see it slide off. So maybe just watch how you pull... so sad. Great product though!

I absolutely love this wallet. It has a very nice look and feel. After using it for about 9 months the zipper started failing. Obviously Amazon wasn't going to fix the problem but at the very least I wanted to contact Ramsey Solutions and let them know about the problem. I sent a simple email explaining what was going on and they replied back apologizing and offered to send me a replacement or refund my money. This is a class act company!

After less than a year, my zipper quit working. I don't fill the wallet as full as it should be filled and take very good care of my wallet. I am very displeased and I believe they should be replaced, but since I bought from amazon, I have no option to have this done. Don't buy unless you know the zipper has been addressed. The rest of the wallet is very well made. The material is all holding up quite well and really it looks new. However, a new looking wallet does me no good if I can't zip it up.This wallet feels like it is made quite well. It is roomy and solid. I thought about buying different wallets, but anything just a few dollars less than this one had issues with quality and some even had chemical smells. The wallets that I looked at that were comparable quality to this one were twice as expensive and had less components and ease of use.

I really loved the idea of this wallet, but after only three months of use, it is unusable. I had problems with the zipper within a couple weeks of purchasing. If I was very careful and slow at zipping it up, I could get the teeth in the zipper to grab just right and zip without busting open. This past week, no amount of babying the zipper will get it to close properly. I can't use a wallet that won't stay shut. I am bummed because I have purchased wallets for much less and have never had trouble with any of the zippers. I hate to post a negative review, but this product doesn't cut it for me. I still LOVE all of the Ramsey families teachings and will continue to support their great books, radio shows, etc. 😊

This is a beautiful wallet. I was leery to buy because another reviewer had the tab fall off the zipper. I tried like might to get the tab to come off and I couldn't. It just wasn't going to slide out.This wallet is great quality. The zipper is a thick metal. The tab is excellent quality. The inner is a nice fabric and leather. I would recommend this wallet as a self-purchase or as a gift.The clips are great to separate your cash into categories, eliminating envelopes. LOVE IT. I don't need people knowing I'm on the envelope system while I fumble through envelopes. There's plenty of room for your 'discount' cards and 'debit' card. But keep those credit cards at home. lol. There's no room for credit cards. (just kidding. LOTS of room)Rachel did a very nice job creating and endorsing a high quality wallet. I'm excited to have it. finally.

I haven't had this wallet even a year and the zipper doesn't work anymore. For how much I invested in this wallet I'm very disappointed. Its absolutely useless now and I'll have to spend more money to buy another wallet. If it can't close, it can't secure my money. It looks great but it doesn't last.
