Walnut Hollow Basswood Small Rectangle Plaque, 6" x 14", Sandal

I really like this wood board. It is very thick and it was really easy to stain. The size was perfect for the sign that I made for my daughters wedding. Incredibly durable and super fun to use as a craft.

I bought this to make a welcome sign for my daughter. This piece of wood is beautiful! It took the stain perfectly and the wood was smooth and beautifully crafted. It cost a bit more than most craft wood pieces, but it’s completely worth it if you want something of superior quality! I will be buying from this company again!

I was looking to buy a cute gnome welcome sign but couldn’t find anything that I liked so I decided to get a piece of wood I could just paint on to make the sign myself. This was perfect.I love the curved edges to give the sign a bit more style. I had no issues using acrylic paint on this. The final result was just what I hoped for. It was quite easy to hang on the wall with two pairs of velcro command strips.

I was impressed when I received my order. It’s perfect for my project & I will be ordering more.

Sizing was a bit smaller than I anticipated because the usable space is really smaller than you expect due to the scalloped edges. Was using it to mount a model and barely got it to fit. Did the job and good price. The next item for sale was too big…so just measure your things well before deciding

I needed a way to mount my doorbell to the wall. The 2 gang box where the old doorbell was mounted didn't work for my new hardware. The holes didn't line up. I needed some way to mount the new cover. Sometimes the best solutions are in unusual places. This plaque was absolutely perfect for mounting on the wall and giving me a way to secure my new doorbell cover.

11x14 Basswood boards are difficult to find in big box stores. Walnut Hollow makes good quality boards. I feel comfortable ordering Walnut Hollow products without being able to hand pick them. This seller passed on quality products at a fair price in good time. Two thumbs up!

Had to wait a little while for it to come in, because Amazon had it on back order. When it did finally arrive it blew my expectations out of the water. Perfect board that only required minimal sanding before I could start wood burning on the surface. Definitely would recommend to all those out there hoping to use this for pyrography!
