This KJVB reference Bible is what I have wanted for awhile. It is large print for easy viewing for my eyesight, and it has the verse by verse clearly separated for easily and quickly finding the verses. I currently had a KJVB that did not have the feature and was forever searching through it to get to the next verse. Very frustrating. So I am really happy about this.I also like at the beginning of each book it gives a summary of what the book is about. Gives a little history. So that is also helpful. There is also center references clear to view and even more if needed at the bottom of page. There is plenty of space in margins to make some notes and also in the center of page also. This is not a journal so no there is not a place to make all your notes in depth but enough. I would suggest to those who like to make extensive notes to do so in a notebook. However, I am happy to with the references provided and the space to make a comment or two.I have purchased many different translations in the past year. Most of those I have donated to others. I had KJV and simply found it frustrating with the ancient language. I then had the NASB and found that it was good but still the wording was quite different in some places from a lot of Church services used, so not a good one for listening to services for me to follow along.Everyone has their own needs. This Bible fills all those needs for me. All of God's Word is holy and good for teaching the truth of Jesus. So never fear with any translation that it changes that. Use whatever Bible you feel more comfortable with so you can feel confident in teaching others. Remember that is the purpose of all these Bibles.

Die NKJV-Übersetzung ist genau und auch für Personen, deren Muttersprache nicht Englisch ist, gut verständlich. Textgrundlage für die Übersetzung war im NT der Textus Receptus, wobei dort auch andere Lesarten nach Nestlé Aland und dem Mehrheitstext aufgeführt werden. An dieser Bibel ist restlos alles sehr wertig. Der flexible Einband aus Kunstleder hat eine seher angenehme Haptik. Die Bibel bleibt aufgeschlagen sehr gut liegen. Der Text ist versweise gesetzt und sehr gut lesbar. Die Parallelstellen, Anmerkungen zu anderen Lesarten und Übersetzungsmöglichkeiten sind in der Mitte der Spalten aufgeführt, was die Auffindung sehr erleichtert. Auf den Goldrand und die Konkordanz könnte ich gut verzichten, aber das ist mein persönlicher Geschmack. Dass die Worte Jesu in Rot gesetzt sind, gefällt mir nicht, ist aber bei amerikanischen Ausgaben durchaus üblich. Mir missfällt dabei, dass damit suggeriert wird, dass diese Stellen wichtiger seien als die anderen. Aber die ganze Bibel ist Gottes Wort. Alles in allem eignet sich diese Ausgabe hervorragend zum Bibelstudium, auch wenn es sich dabei nicht um eine Studienbibel mit Anmerkungen handelt. Wer das sucht, dem sei die hervorragende NKJV Studienbibel empfohlen, die in verschiedenen Versionen bei Amazon erhältlich ist. Wer eine handliche Bibel zum Mitnehmen sucht, der kann sich die NKJV, Thinline Reference Bible, Large Print, Leathersoft, Brown, Red Letter Edition zulegen, die von der Wertigkeit vergleichbar ist, aber weniger Parallelstellen und weniger alternative Übersetzungsmöglichkeiten aufweist.

I bought this Bible for the extensive reference guide feature. It has a very readable font and the leather-soft cover is very elegant. It was listed by seller as 'used-very good'. In reality it is actually brand new! The shipping was quick, received before expected date. I have several Bibles of different types and am very much looking forward to using this with the references to expand my studies.
