Enjoying my new toy, but have one issue and I may be doing something wrong. I tried using it on a 4 quart pot that has two handles. I find that I cannot clip it to the pot because one of the handles ends up being in the way. If I make it so I can use both clips then the strainer does not lie correctly against the pot, leaving a big gap for food to come out.

It didn't fit over the rim on my pots. I'm not going to go through the trouble of measuring, but I have never thought we have excessively large rims/edges/lips on them. If a stranger were to walk into my kitchen and look at my pots, they would probably say, "those look normal to me." Also, the stranger would see me using a standard colander that works perfectly fine. I don't remember why I thought I would like this product, but I was wrong.

I love my pans, but they have curved sides which have made draining liquids after cooking very challenging. Most handheld strainers that I've tried just don't work. I clipped it on my pan before boiling the pasta water (the lid still fit, though not tightly) and cooked the pasta, as usual. When I drained it, the heavy pasta stayed in the pan and I was able to tip the pan adequately to quickly drain all the water. Very clever product and just what I've been looking for. As an added bonus, it cleans up much more easily than a sieve or colander and takes up less space.

Received today and immediately used twice. I was making homemade Pho soup. used to strain rice noodles. clipped on a 6 quart pot to strain the noodles. Also clipped on large stock pot to strain out the beef / bone stock I made for the Pho. also ran thru dishwasher and no problem there either.Much easier than using a colander, and it isn't unbearably large, so it isn't going to be a problem to store. The big test will be how the clips hold up over time, but everything seems very well made. Happy with the purchase

I had high hopes for this strainer. I really like the concept of it, but it is way too small. I wish that it had a bigger area, so when I am pouring out the water, the pasta doesn't fall over the top of it. Other than the size, it does work well, but it is better suited for smaller amounts of pasta.

I ordered 4 as this product as Christmas gifts for family and one for myself. It works great! 2 of my 4 boxes were crinkled but the product was not damaged so that's what matters.Definitely recommend as its easier to clean up than a strainer.

I wish this was slightly longer. It fits on 1 qt pots great but anything 2 qt or larger, especially a frying pan or large pot for spaghetti, forget it, Food spills out of the edge. Like I said, great on small pans.

Somehow, I don't feel 100% secure in dumping a whole pan over the sink - not yet, anyway. It hasn't failed me (yet), either. I will come back and revisit after I see if it earns my 5th star - or not.
