Has a really nice back, the pages are a bit thin but as long as you use the right type of pen the ink doesn't go through.

back fell off of it and the paper holder things ripped lol. but i made it work. i also abuse my notebooks in my bag but whatever. i need a more durable one apparently. still works well and has lots of good quality paper

The front cover on this notebook is a flexible plastic. The back cover is a thick(ish) cardboard. The pages are college ruled, with perforated edges for easy removal. There's a double sided folder included in the front of the notebook, so you can keep important pages close by. Overall, I like this notebook, but the 5 subject in this same exact style is cheaper at the time of this posting. So, unless you really need a one subject, I'd say to get more for your money and get the 5 subject.
