Avon Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation - Light Beige

I am a huge fan of the Avon Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation in Light Beige. I have been wearing it for years now and I just love it! I made the switch to powder foundation when I was told my previous foundation looked caked on. I was using Clinique liquid foundation and paying an arm and a leg for it. An Avon store had opened in my hometown and that's when I had made the switch, and have gotten so many compliments on my skin while wearing this product. It is so light and airy, way better than liquid foundation for my skin that is. I than switched to buying it on Amazon because the local store had moved, but I still get an amazing price for the product and it is always shipped faster than expected and that's my favorite part!!!

This is the best foundation I've ever used. It gives the coverage of a liquid foundation in a powder! Gorgeous, natural-looking shade that conceals all imperfections, no problem. Stays on all day. I'm giving it 5 stars, but I do have one complaint: The dispenser is ridiculous. When the container is about 2/3 empty you can't get any more of it to shake out! Worse, I received a new one recently and the powder wouldn't come out at all. I finally took a paring knife and pounded until I had about a centimeter-sized hole and now the powder comes out great. So other than the packaging, I can't say enough great things about the product! I have bought 4 so far, and intend to order again and again.

I have used this product over 5 years now & still love it! I get compliments on my make all the time! Highly recommend! Wears well unless it's during the heat of the Texas summer. But at that time of the year, NO makeup wears well! I do not have reapply during the day & that is pretty good considering I have oily skin. I only reapply if I am going somewhere after work & even then, I do not have to pull out the container of powder. I just use my brush that still has a small bit on it from when I originally put it on in the morning. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!

I have purchased this for several years. It is every bit as good as any other mineral makeup I have tried. The only negative is the way it is put together. The dispenser is nice as opposed to a plastic top with holes, which fills the lid with powder if you are traveling or it gets knocked around in your makeup case. But the lid will not screw off so you end up with some powder in the container that you can't get out when it's almost empty.

This is the second jar of Avon minerals I've used. The color match is good. I was introduced to mineral makeup by another brand. I like the Avon minerals just as well and they are less expensive. The only thing I don't like the the delivery system. To get the minerals powder into the area where you can use them there is this trap door sort of thing. It doesn't always work and can be frustrating.

great coverage :) To me i like it just as much as i do some of my other Mineral powders that i payed much much more for...It wears all day and i don't need to apply more during my day..

Hard to get out, but works great! Better than the "other name brand" that would dry my face out big time.

Avon Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation is perfect for my aging skin. It is light on my skin and looks nice. I also love the flip open top and the way they have designed the top to emit a small amount of powder. I think they should do this for the blush minerals also... Anyway, I highly recommend this.
