I’m a big fan of Ron Ripley read all his books .This book is not disappointing it will grab you right til the end . On my way to get book 2

This 'book' is excellent. I read one of Ripley's books before. The problem with it is...it's not the whole story. One is forced to buy the next book, which also incomplete. It's poor marketing to get someone who loves to read to HAVE to buy another book, or would that be 10 books?, to finish the story. Be wary of that fact. At least let a reader know it's a part of a book. Now I know why I never read any more books of his.

I would happily have given this book 4 stars, it’s unusual and interesting and I was invested to see how it would play out, who is the secret figure controlling the shots, how will Dan Tate help when he can’t help himself?The reason I gave 3 stars is because the book just stopped! Things are building nicely, I’m looking forward to it all coming together, chapter 45 Dan makes a small breakthrough, then nothing, it goes to a preview for the next book???I know there’s a book 2, some series have several books but this isn’t a series, book 1 literally stops mid story so be aware that if you want to read/hear the whole story you’ll have to buy both books, I find it deceptive that there is nothing in the description that makes that clear.

I really enjoyed this novel, but I definitely felt it ended too abruptly and without any ending. I read to the end of the book but at 90% what I thought was another chapter was a preview for the next book in the series carrying on from where I had read too. I feel robbed at having to pay another £3.99 to read the end of a book I have already bought. They are only short books as it is. I am very disappointed..
