In general, I hate hats of all kinds. But I do need sun protection. The thing I like best about this one is that the cap can zip off which makes it far more comfortable. The bill is plenty wide, which provides excellent sun protection without obstructing my peripheral vision. Easy to put on due to the velcro tabs in the back.

Highly recommend it If you are looking for a lightweight fuller coverage cap style hat. Something not mentioned much is that the brim also shades your ears. Is also easy to clean and dries quickly. Will purchase again.

I got this for the excruciating heat and sun in TX. I'm Irish, so the sun and I have a very difficult relationship. As in, I have to stay away from it. Although, I like to take walks, hike and garden. So, I just needed something to cover my eyes and possibly the tops of my ears while out. But, still able to wear a pony tail. This is absolutely the hat for the job. My ears stick out and the hat pushes them further out; making me look like an elephant with a hat on. I look so silly but, I really don't care. It blocks my face and ears from the sun. It's lightweight and I don't sweat around the band. I love that the top is detachable and with adjustable velcro, the hat easily fits while wearing my hair up. Also, I wear glasses and most hats push them into the sides of my head. As you can see it the picture, no problems there. I took off one star because I was pretty miffed that only one day after I purchased the hat, it went down $4. (petty, I know) All in all, highly recommended for anyone who wants a sun hat that fully does the job of blocking sun off your face, ears and top of the head.

It fits my large noggin PERFECTLY! The visor zips off. The visor has thin wires for shaping so it’s lightweight, flexible and awesome. I’ve had so many compliments on it. And before I found this one, I think I ordered (and returned) five hats all stating they were for XL heads but they weren’t. And it’s not like I have a gigantic head, it’s just that one size fits all doesn’t fit my head! If you’re looking for a light, cute sun hat for a large (or normal sized) head, this is it!

So I bought this hats for a golf outing with my husband. I was looking for a hat that was cool but also match my outfit. I saw the reviews for this hat and choose white because I was not sure how the other colors would look when they came. When it arrived I was shocked to realize that it was a 2in 1 combo where you can unzip and just have a visor or keep it together. I chose to use it as a visor as it was not too hot of a day.The fit: The hat fits my head perfectly. I believe I have an average size head.Sun protection: For some protection I think the hat did a perfect job, the visor is a little bit longer than your average hat, so your whole face is covered perfectly.Shocker: The thing that shocked me most about this hat is a few days later I poured coffee all over it in the trunk of my car. Most of the coffee poured into the head part as I had unzipped it. I was going to throw it away. After taking it out of the car maybe two weeks after, I decided to toss it in the laundry with my White clothes which I use oxy clean only. To my surprise when I took out the heart it was as good as New perfectly white no stains just perfect. Was it oxy clean or the make of the hat that allowed for stains to come out, I don’t care. What I know is even if I sweat and clean the hat promptly Ext time it will be good for years hopefully. Most likely it as I tend to lose things.

This hat is made of nice quality fabric, a pretty color, and fits well. The negative (and why I only gave it 3 stars) is that the zipper broke the very first time I separated the bonnet from the visor. So now I can only use the visor portion. I am disappointed that I can’t use it as a hat too, as intended.

Great wide brim light weight

I love that it's white, and very lightweight. I think it looks good on, too, and the back is adjustable with velcro for a smaller or larger head.
