High Tech Pet Sofa Scram Sonic Pad Pet Deterrent, 3-Pack

These worked the very first time with our two dogs who had been allowed on our previous sofa for years. We got a new sofa that we wanted to keep clean so we tried these mats. After hearing the beep just once (and one attempt by one dog to get on sofa), our dogs won’t go near our new sofa unless we remove the mats, put down a blanket and invite them up to sit with us. Once the mats are back on, they steer clear of the sofa and use their dog beds. We’re hoping after training period that they’ll stay off even without the mats and only come up when invited. Highly recommend!

I was skeptical at first to buy this product but, it works great to detour your dog/ dogs form getting on your furniture. Took my dogs two to three time to stay off the couch and chairs. Highly recommend. No more dog hair or muddy footprints on the furniture and that’s a big win win!

Only drawback is my medium size dogs jumped over the pads

The media could not be loaded.  We had resorted to putting barstools and laundry baskets on and off the couches because no matter how hard we tried to discipline our sneaky little shedders always knew the perfect times to sneak on the couches when we weren’t around. What. A. Pain. In. The. Donkey. Well, we just spent thousands on new couches and I was sick of doing that, I want to enjoy these couches without having to rearrange furniture every time! I researched and found this product, and was excited to receive it the very next day. I set the trap and knew they would attempt jumping on as soon as I left the house, so I drive around the block a few times but kept my camera recording. This dude.. you can watch him walk to the front door after I leave and actually wait until you can hear me pull away (thank you Durango RT) and doesn’t waste a second before trying to jump on the new couch after sniffing out what he thought was going to be his new spot. Ha! Not today Sebastian, not today. He would’ve even look at me when I returned home. This is so much easier than messing with bar stools!!!

My Chesepeake Bay Retrivers and cats were laying on our beautiful patio furniture. Who wants to sit on a cushion with dog or cat hair, dirt, and quite frankly... stinky. So, I researched, read tons of reviews of various products and was considering this product and the scat mat (emits a static charge to discourage pets). A good friend, who is also an animal lover like me, had the scat mats or an equivalent. She said "Don't waste your money" and explained that her dogs (dalmation, german shorthaired pointers and mutts) could tell if it was on and simply did not respect it. She said if it was on, they even figured out how they could get up on furniture without touching the mat. So, I tried these mats. I purchased 2 of the "3-packs". I can say that my review will sound just like the many reviews I read. From the day I put these mats on my furniture, the pets have not been on the furniture. The sound emitted is just like an annoying smoke alarm. for chair/ottoman combinations, I lay the mat across the chair and on the ottoman together. I also had a problem of one of my dog taking a decorative pillow off the furniture and ripping it to shreds. so I just put the pillow under the mat or touching it. The down side is the beauty of the furniture is cluttered a bit with the presence of the mats, but I just remove the mats and hide when we plan to use the chairs and love seats. It is worth the inconvenience, by far. This product works for all my pets and the furniture is saved.

I can't say enough good things about Sofa Scram. First, let me say that our dog is a little bit skittish in that she doesn't like loud noises, so this is the perfect product for her.After a VERY brief training session with her (which ended with her running off and hiding in the bedroom closet), we were off to the races! I placed the units on the sofa, and covered them with blankets, leaving the heads uncovered for maximum sound, per the instructions, and awaited the outcome...Day 1 with Sofa Scram: It appears that there were two separate attempts to get on the sofa, but there was no evidence that she settled in for a nap.Day 2: One attempt to get on the sofa.Day 3: A little bit afraid of the sofa.Now in the morning, when she sees me get out the Sofa Scram, she scuttles off to the other room. Until I figured out a routine for handling and placement, they would sometimes go off as I was getting them in place, so she now associates them with loud noises. I would say it's a good thing.At some point, we'll try not putting them out to see if the behavioral change is permanent, but have to say we're VERY happy with the results!

I wasnt a fan of the scat mat since it has an electric shock. Scram mat don't shock but makes a loud noise. Works perfectly!! Best investment. Used it to break my dogs of counter surfing.

I have not seen my cat trying to lay on the sofa since I purchased this therefore I have to think that is working when I am not home. :) :)

Awesome for cats -I don’t have a dog. Tried for 4 years to get my baby to stop marking my couch and this FINALLY stopped him! I’ve had 6 months of bliss so far.

This is easy to use. I put it on the counters and on our couch. When the cat's paw touches it, a high pitch sound emits from the pad (uses one 9 volt battery). The cats jump off the counter/couch. Excellent quality!

can't find the battery for this. Please help????
