Excellent peeler!
THIS is the peeler of my youth that grandma had ( i'm 63 ) ! it works smoothly and effortlessly! It can tackle even tough skinned items like mango, kiwi, etc. Is easy to hold, easy to clean, easy to store! - expect it to last a very very long time! - My mom still has Grandma's!

High Quality
I’ve purchased several other brands of peelers, most of which don’t last well due to poor craftsmanship and subpar materials. This one, is excellent on both counts! Upon opening the package, this one had a little extra weight to it. The blades were razor sharp. I peeled potatoes and carrots and it was effortless. No snagging on roots, just clean peeling. It also seems to be made to truly withstand rust. Very pleased!

Sharp, it’s nicely into my utensil drawer
I had a very good peeler, but it was like five times the size of this one, and the older one had a plastic tip for carving out the eyes of a potato. This one is compact, very sharp and a metal tip (obviously) for covering out the eyes of potato, works much better. Best tool for the job! And super easy to peel stuff because the blades are so sharp!

Best peeler I've ever used, hands down.
The engineering of this kitchen utensil is simple and it works better than anything else I've used for peeling vegetables. Only a very light touch is needed and the peels come right off. Also, the peeler is efficiently sized for easy and comfortable handling and storing. The larger fancy veggie peelers cannot compare. This design is like my mother's original peeler which is even now after 50+ years, still working better than the new, fancy designs which I've had to replace multiple times. The Linden Sweden Original Jonas Peeler is the king of peelers!

Best Vegetable Peeler Tips You Will Read This Year!
I opted for an old-fashioned, virtually unbreakable stainless steel with a vintage look just like my grandmother's used to have because this trusted gadget outlasted the test of time and proved the merit of a well-deserved first place on any kitchen drawer.Essential to know, made in Sweden from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, it’s guaranteed not to rust for at least ten years. Not only will it resist rust, but the blade will remain sharp; I asked myself what could go wrong only by peeling the fruits and vegetables. It cleans up easily by hand; I wouldn’t use such a darling product in the dishwasher; I only use a touch of detergent and wash it over the kitchen sink under running water for less than a minute and make suremicrofiber-dry it right away. Is that easy? One of the best-kept secrets is that any sharp, cutting objects, especially kitchen knives, must be cloth dry thoroughly instead of letting them air dry; this way, it retains their sharpness for an extended period.Maintenance goes a long way, especially since I like the peeler tool, and I want to enjoy its use after use for years to come. The vegetable peeler, like all others, has an excellent design built in, which helps me to remove the sprouting eyes on occasional old potatoes; after that, the potatoes will look like new again instantly.I use the vegetable peeler on lengthy veggies like carrots, zucchini, squash, cucumber, etc., to shave long and lovely thin ribbons that are perfect for salads or to replace pasta in light dishes and maintain the waistline. The root veggies, as well as the fruits, peel nicely because of the slick overall design, particularly the handle; significantly less bulky than the other counterparts, with no rubber or plastic parts needed, and I still can control the thickness. I won't let all fruits or veggie peels go to the trash can to waste. When peeling apples, mangoes, and veggies, I use the peels in soups stock for a touch of sweetness; I also learned any clean fruit peels would add fiber to a smoothie or, if brewed in water, will make a fragrant tea; I only add a touch of honey! As mentioned somewhere else, “The peeler can make professional-looking chocolate curls and ribbons for the best-looking cakes or any baked goods that need embellishments.” Black Forest Cake comes to mind; it requires chocolate shavings all around. The peeler will also make perfect Parmesan curls for the iconic crispy-cold Caesar; this easy-to-make salad will kick any Chef to the curb when homemade. The curls of Lemon or orange peel are in vogue for garnishing homemade ice cream or ice-cold beverages in the summer. The veggie peeler has a secret life and sometimes uncommon uses; for example, one can sharpen a dull pencil in a tight situation or one can shave ribbons of colder butter that will soften quickly for immediate use. And to wrap it up with a Bow, I Love this peeler; in a short time, it has become my favorite.

Peeler Worth It
This is probably the best peeler you can buy. It has a rounded ergonomic handle and a nice sharp blade. I’ve used these for years and am not to afraid to admit having to dig through the compost pile to retrieve it after inadvertently throwing it out with the potato peels. Always have a backup.
