After my pool service raised prices in 2022 I decided I needed to sit down and learn to get my pool chemistry correct. I came across this product and I decided I would give it a try. The first box I received was clearly used, and I was not too happy about that. I returned the item to Amazon and they sent me a new unit. Setting it up was a little difficult. It seemed not to want to connect to the wifi but after some time I was able to get it to connect to BT and get it going. It now is connected and has remained connected since. I simply just listened to what the device had to say. It gave instructions on how much chemicals to add and I just followed its directions. When it came time to send in a water test it took some time but the result eventually appeared in my APP. This was cool. I followed the recommendations after the results and my pool has remained crystal clear. One thing I like is that it does do daily tests. I get notified when the FC is low and I never go zero. For this last test, I changed my water in the pool due to its high levels of CYA. I decided it was time to change it anyway since it had been more than 5 years. I filled the pool and took a water sample. When I got the results it gave me all sorts of info on balancing my water. I followed those instructions and I continue to have clear clean water. They have a new unit that reads many of the levels that you normally would have to send in a sample. My unit is only 1 year old so I will wait a couple more years and I am sure I will upgrade. Even with the 20.00 a month charge for cartridges, I save a 100.00 in what I was being charged a month for a service.

It doesn't get an easier than this for pool monitoring and maintenance. So simple to get your readings once a day and make adjustments to the salt generator or add a little acid.Pool stays balanced year around and crystal clear. Chlorine levels always perfect. Cuts down on so much of the usual pool work.Highly recommend. Doesn't hurt that the company stands behind their products and if anything goes wrong, a new unit will be sent under warranty.

It does not however give all the functionality the S2 version offers.******* Warning*******Note that this cassette is intended for the older S1 model. For additional testing capabilities like acidity, calcium, and alkalinity, users with the newer S2 system should consider the S2 C5 cassette or the S2 3-pack option. However, these don’t appear to be offered through their Amazon store but can be purchased on their website for the same price.I have attached a screenshot highlighting in blue the tests you get with the S1 version of the cassettes and red for the S2 version of the cassettes.*******Message to WaterGuru*******A drawback of both these cassettes is its daily testing requirement via the WaterGuru app, which depletes the test strips within 30 days, pushing for frequent replacements and added expense. Allowing adjustable testing intervals could enhance flexibility and extend cassette lifespan, although this would likely impact your company's revenue from recurring sales. Maybe survey your customer base to see how many use this product 365 days a year. You may be able to increase margins by offering different different testing intervals so customers can opt to test less frequently in low use seasons like winter.

I wish they didn’t cost quite so much. On the other hand I replaced my monthly pool bill with one of these, so I guess it’s worth it. Keeps track of water, temperature, pH, chlorine levels and pump section. If you maintain your own pool, this is essential.

This is a great system for the person who busy and needs to know the family swimming pool is safe. Easy app offers enough information to make minor adjustments to chemical balance in a short amount of time. Only complaint would be that the free chlorine has maybe too small of range when using shock or really just my inline feeder. Great system would strongly recommend. Set up is a breeze, know you will spend another 125.00 annually for test cartridges, Buy This!

In the past I would order a 3 pack. 2 c2 and1 c5 cartridge. I recently ordered a 3 pack and I learned that they were all c2 cartridges which are all inferior to the c5. I will now have to buy a c5 since this is what I use to close our pool

I was able to see daily readings that was easy to follow and maintain my pool chemical balance.What I found is that I was overpaying my pool guy for chemical service and was able to cancel that expensive weekly cost by doing it myself following Waterguru advice.This product pays for itself very quickly.
