Bought this for my train loving son and it was a HIT!!! Best holiday gift he got (he said) it was a great craft to do easy, washable pain 4 paint brushes and 4 train cars to paint. He loved painting the trains and now loves playing with them as well. It comes with a set of tracks as well! I highly recommend this to anyone who likes trains or has kids that like trains.

This is a lot of train for the price. I just wish that I had two or three times as much so that the product was two or three times bigger. Tip for when it seems that the connector pieces are missing. (Turn the two crossover pieces around.) The older kids had fun painting the cars. The 2 and 1/2 year old enjoyed dragging the cars all over the table, though the magnetic linkage was what made them really fun. The track? Well, it worked well and should last, but nobody had much fun with it. For the price, we got an entertaining evening out of this gift. Only time will tell, if it has a future.

My son wanted this so bad for Christmas and was so excited when he received it. It’s durable and it was fun to paint!!!! He’s 3 1/2 and loves trains. Great gift for anyone highly recommend!!!!!!

This was my 3 year old’s favorite birthday present! Well built kit, with smooth paints. Everyone enjoyed painting it, and the trains and tracks work with all the other wooden sets we have collected.

Lucky I had my own paint on hand, I ordered 2 sets for each of my boys and most of the paint came dried out. The trains and tracks themselves were great and once I gave them separate paint, they really enjoyed customizing their own sets. Just a shame about the dried paint, could've been a real bummer if I gifted it to someone who didn't have paint on hand.
