germination was not as good as expected. Seed that did come up looked healthy.

The seed sprouted as claimed and grew well. I watered it twice a day. However, there are weeds that sprouted which look like ferns but with a very long tap root. These type of weeds have never appeared in the yard and only where I spread the Scotts grass seed. I keep looking for the weeds and when found, pull them out. Not good.

We were Having trouble getting the too-expensive "professional" product my spouse bought to grow. It just wouldn't, so I bought this. Clover lawn thriving so we knew it wasn't the soil. This product is much better, and the blue color helps identify the seed as you put it over empty patches, seems like it helped keep the birds away from it because we finally have little sprouts coming up. Great for overseeding the clover. Going for low water requirements when established but needs to be consistently watered to start (most grass does) and this doesn't seem to be too fussy about sun or shade. Think it needed a few more days than indicated on the bag but patience wins.

Filled in holes placed at the end of winter when still dormant. Covered with small layer of dirt. Came up in spring nice and full. Will purchase again when needed.

I live in South Texas. It rarely rains here and we are one again in a super drought of a year. I planted these seeds during our rainy spring, made sure they were wet every day for 7 days, then I haven’t done anything since. My yard is currently dry as a bone but the test patch of grass is thriving. Don’t hesitate to buy this.
