high quality and works well
this spray works very very well i was able to coat all my 3d prints and it didn't change any of the colors of the paint that was already on them at all and gave myself an extra sense of security of the paint that is on the 3d prints. So overall i would highly recommend if you need a matte clear coat on anything and works good on 3d prints.

Used to protect a polished cane handle
Nice coverage and good result on a brass walking cane head. Time will tell how it lasts but at the moment it looks a treat. Matt finish clear acrylic. Don't use on acetone based spray paint though, it'll take the paint off!

Does exactly what it says on the tin -literally
Most people know paint spray cans from doing care maintenance. Like many others, I bought this Matt Varnish for other uses, to seal the acrylic paint on some miniature metal figures I painted and although hesitant, this did dry clear. There was no greying, or alteration of the colours that I've had with some other makes. Surprisingly there was little dulling of the shine, gloss paints simply became satin, [which was good for me] but no doubt further layers would take any shine away. The can has a large spray nozzle with a quarter turn twist and lock mechanism that shields the finger from paint, which worked wonders for me! There's therefore no awkward top to remove, just twist, shake and spray. The cans are 400ml, compared to 500ml for those large ones normally seen in a certain top car maintenance shops, where standard size are usually 250ml, but these are correspondingly priced.Like almost all spray paints/hair laquers etc, there is a strong vapour smell to this, but I did not find it unduly unpleasant, but it does linger for about 20 minutes or so. Thus use this in a well ventilated space. Two tips: make sure the temperature is above 5C or it could dry dull and build it up in light layers, which speeds up drying and stops puddling/running.

Sealed some decoupage on a prop shield
I used this to seal decoupage (paper designs) on a wooden shield that I made for my son. I knew he would ultimately leave this outside sometimes and that it would need to be protected. I gave it a good few solid coats. The finish was very good, no issues with drips when applied correctly and it didn't damage the paper designs at all. The finish was fairly invisible, just a slight noticeable sheen to the paper now.Well as predicted - he left the shield out in the rain! When I got it the water was beaded up and came straight off, so objective achieved! The decoupage survived for another day.Overall, easy to apply and does the job.

Wear gloves and avoid wind
Does the job, but is best sprayed outside or with PLENTY of ventilation. I cannot stress enough the need to wear gloves, especially if you spray this while it is windy outdoors. I made the mistake of getting blowback on my hands and could not remove the stickiness with anything. Even isopropyl alcohol 99.9% on a Brillo pad failed. Total nightmare on skin, but worked effectively for me to seal acrylic paint on to a sculpture.

Perfect for my paintings
I do alot of acrylic paintings on canvas and this is perfect as a sealant and protector. Used as described on the can, it sprays easy, is totally clear with a totally matt look finish, and is easy to use. Has also gone a very long way, I have protecred several paintings with 2 coats and it's still going strong. It does smell quite strong of nail varnish remover when applied but this goes soon after drying, but ensure to spray and leave outside for a few minutes to avid the smell lingering indoors. I love this product.
