Handy helper!
Very, very satisfied with this staining mop. It worked wonderfully. I will recommend this too friends and family. Stained my deck in no time. Everyone that's going to stain a deck needs one of these.

No replacement pads available! Don't buy this
I bought two of these to stain my deck and then discovered that Shur-line have discontinued this product and there are no replacement pads available. You use it once and you might as well throw it away. The pads Amazon advertise to buy with it do not fit this product. They say its a Stain system - it isn't - its a discontinued line where you pay $65 for something you can only use once.

Not sure about this one
It worked great the first time I used it, but didn't work at all the following week. Stain leaked from the reservoir and the pad would only dispense on one side.

This stain applicator worked very well for my needs and didn't take me a great deal of time to do a four-tier deck. The only setback I have for this product is the unavailability of a replacement stain pad. If anyone knows where I can locate them feel free to email me.

Applicator pads tear easily and parts break.
The unit clogged up on the second day and the tip broke on the applicator pad section. The applicator pads fall apart from rough surfaces and don’t apply evenly plus the company does not make separate applicator pads for this system. Luckily I had an old unit from several years ago and was able to piece together another system to complete the other half of the deck. It would be a great system if they sold separate applicator pads and the swivel neck on the applicator manifold was built a little stiffer.

Easy to use.
The deck (10x20) was done in 1 hour. It was easy to use - just like mopping the floor.

NO REPLACEMENT PADS AVAILABLE
I have a brand new unit and as someone previously stated, THERE ARE NO REPLACEMENT PADS available.Needless to say I'M PISSED - used it last weekend and needed to order replacement pads to finish the job this weekend. Nearly $100.00 out the window.I'll never purchase their products again.

Application trigger begin to stick after extended use.
I would give this product a 5 on ease of use and a 1 on longevity. We used it to stain 2 large decks and it's fantastic for applying the stain. Before we could complete the decks, the spring loaded trigger to dispense stain started to stick until we couldn't use it anymore.
