This tablet is very sturdy and clean looking, the aluminum back looks great. It has some weight to it but just enough to let you know it's there. The function of the tablet is also great, no lag during the opening of apps and it processes very quickly, streaming is great. The screen is also very sharp and clear. The only issue and the loss of the fifth star is because after 3 weeks the power and volume keys pushed into the body of the tablet and became stuck. This brings me to Tablet Express customer service, which to my surprise was great. The button issue happened on a Friday and customer service was called on Saturday, they do not have weekend hours. With this I became a little concerned. I called on Monday and got a voicemail straight away, again I was a little concerned but I left a message. To my surprise I got a call back in under 15 minutes! Great! I was advised that they did not currently have the same tablet in their stock to perform an exchange and that I should go ahead and continue the return through Amazon, which of course was quick and easy. This tablet was a gift for my daughter and after having to return this tablet she wanted to try another brand. Long story short, that brand has now been returned and we will again be ordering this tablet. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great Tablet, Especially for the Price UPDATED *by Y***H on Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2016* I was looking for replacements for my spouse's and my 7" tablets, so I took a chance and ordered 2. The reviews were good, but not enough for a good sampling.Wow, was I pleasantly surprised by this tablet.Pros: ~Good feel, quality construction ~ Comes with screen protector applied. Found this out when I was going to apply my own and found a small dust particle under the protector on one of the tablets. It's barely noticeable, and a whole lot better than I can do. ~It's unlocked, rooted easily, and doesn't have all the normal crapware. ~With the 9.7" screen there's almost twice as much viewing area as the 7" tablet, and much easier to read with my old eyes. ~I generally use it for ebooks, PDF's, and browsing. Viewing and manipulating PDF's is much quicker than the old tablets, even a 1300 page manual, ~Browsing is smooth and responsive. ~With 12GB of available memory, I doubt I'll need an SD card.CONS: None for me.I'm not interested in streaming videos, or gamins, so can't address those areas.06/03/2017 I have updated from 5 stars to 3.After 6 months one of the tablets I purchased intermittently shut off. After awhile it wouldn't even turn on.I can't even find a warranty period, or who would service it, so it was DIY time.For anyone else with this problem: I carefully popped the back off and reconnected the battery. Now it works.Apparently the goo used was not strong enough to keep the battery from moving and disconnecting.I don't have anything to use, so just put a couple of small dots of silicone. I can't believe that a tablet below 100 bucks could be this great. It is slick and and super responsive. The 5.0MP camera front the from camera produces top-notch pictures and the 2MP for selfie don't disappoint either. Am so happy that it can also function as a phone which is GSM unlocked internationally so basically you can pop in any sim card from anywhere in the world and you are ready to go. Because of this feature, I have stopped going around with my phone whenever I got this. Let me summarize for you my highs and lows about this tablet.HighsTop-Notch for quality pictures-Great architectural design with quality construction using aluminium-GSM unlocked, can work with sim card from any where in the world and it is both 2G and 3G. This can also make it use the data connection if you don't have access to wifi.-I loved the screen protector that comes with it, its just enough for the job.-The sound quality is just average for a healthy ear but of course for a party you might wanna use a bluetooth speaker. The speaker for the phone is also great just like my samsung galaxy pocket.-Super responsive and the apps loads fast-The 12GB storage is non-partioned, its big enough for all your apps, pics,files and videos.It can play all the popular games with heavy graphics like Gameloft.-It has great video resolution and comfortable viewing angles.-The big 9.7 screen gives you just the best in watching movies or playing games.Its so much fun.-Lastly, the battery is probably the best feature. It can stay with you throughout your one-day trip.
