Universal Fit
The fitting is indeed Universal, and is only-limited by your ability to "make-it-fit", and NO-hammers needed!And for the price? Wouldn't hurt to buy-TWO, as in, for emergency-standby, in dire-time of need---although 6-months after install? This-one is still in-service, 24/7 for winter.

does not perfectly fit my procom heater, but was able to raise up and it does work though not a perfect replacement fit

looks like oem fit
looks like oem fit. I have not used as bought preemptively as it is not available at my local hardware stores. Thermocouples never die when it is convenient or you can afford to wait for one to ship.

Works
Had to replace the thermocouple in our fireplace. This worked great. Couldn't fine one locally and Amazon had it and it was delivered as promised.
