Used to shave mats on a feral long hair rescue cat. It is an excellent little clipper . Low noise, easy to handle, and small enough to get into the small areas of a cat. I am a professional groomer so I'm used to working with professional equipment. And I would write this as professional equipment because of the quality and the ease of use . I did not use the clip-on attachments. I shave the entire underbelly inside back legs and chest area. It does shave extremely close so I recommend using a cornstarch aloe powder to prevent chafing after you shave your pet. I was impressed with this little clipper. Anytime you clip any animal you need to be aware of the fact of the potential of nicking and/or cutting the skin in areas where it stretches. So you should always gently stretch the skin areas as flat as possible when you're shaving an area. If Your pet is severely matted I strongly recommend taking them to a professional grooming facility. You do not want to risk injury. Also this clipper should not be used to shave a face because it will cut too close and cause a burn. This type of clipper as I said shaves extremely close to the skin. And razor burns will occur. That's not the fault of the clipper That is the length of the blade that is responsible for that. If you're shaving a matted area that requires this type of blade but you must soothe the skin after shaving. That is why I recommend cornstarch /aloe powder. You can use plain cornstarch if you have it on hand. Simply dust the area daily until the hair begins to grow back and you see the skin is no longer irritated.

I was scared to try this on my fur baby, he's extremely high strung and I was told not to bring him into the groomer again without tranquilizers. He was already on tranquilizers! So I've taken it nice and slow, a few minutes at a time. We've both really adjusted well, even when I was scared I might hurt him. No cuts, no scratches. Doing about 5 to 10 minutes a day. So he has some funny looking days, but we're getting there after several days. This clipper is quiet and for the money it works very well. I'm definitely pleased. Now that I know we can do this I'll probably purchase the next level clipper to help improve my skills. Great product! So happy with the results...

This works great! Fortunately, I am blessed with a dog who has never had a problem with grooming her feet, but this makes the process so much quicker and neater. I have an older dog who sometimes struggles on the hard floors. As a renter, there's not much I can do about the flooring, but I can keep the fur on feet short to help her have more grip. This is so much more thorough than scissors in the paw pads and never accidentally clips a nail or something if she pulls away for some reason. The charge through 2-3 sessions depending on how much I'm grooming (7 pound Pomeranian). I ended up trying it on several other areas, and it works so well! It's nice to be able to tidy things up in between expensive groom sessions. 10/10.

Absolutely love this little unit! I work in a Veterinary hospital and have been trying to find decent clippers that won't break the bank and these are it! Super quiet which is a huge plus when dealing with already scared fur babies and also minimizes patient injury by keeping themselves sharper longer allowing for no hair pulling. I also use this set on my own fluffball and it cuts through his long cotton-like fur very easily. I've had these clippers for a while now but have tested them on multiple pets with clean, dirty, thick and thin fur also using each guard or with no guard for a close cut for surgical prep, and I have yet to experience an issue. Although you do have to buy replacement clipperblades, I think this is still worth the money. Recommended by my vet for my feisty long hair cat. Quiet, works fine. Seems to dull faster than I want, but so inexpensive and effective I just got another one.

I have had other clippers for my rabbits, but none of them have really worked well. I saw the veterinarian use them so flawlessly on my bunny's underside, I just had to take pictures and run home and order, actually I think I ordered them in the parking lot lol. They just work great They are light and easy to hold, you don't have to try six different ones to find the right one this is it! I work as a hospice aide and I actually bought another one to work on my male client to trim his face up. Worked great and it's small enough to not frighten him and not loud either.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Vet recommended these cheap clippers and swore this was their go-to for mattes. After watching them shave my tangled cat with ease, I ordered the same pair and have quickly and easily shaved my cat at home alone. The clippers are quiet, dont get hot and are very easy to use even for a beginner like me. I also didnt need to worry about what guard to use, and since it was pre charged, I could use it straight out of the box. If your cat has mattes, BUY THIS

I can’t believe these are so cheap! It charges fast and holds a charge for quite a while. I’m not the biggest fan of the guards, so I rarely use them since I like to clip my dog pretty short anyway. It glides really smoothly and doesn’t pull the hair (as long as you’re not using the guard). It’s easily beating out about half a dozen more expensive clippers I’ve purchased!
