Good product
Worked great, the A/C on our horse trailer was in rough shape this little tool had the right size and powered thru some heavy damage and never broke a tooth. Handy little tool but lacks a case

Works well, if you are reasonablycareful and use this trick
I had an AC with some badly smashed fins on the A coil, and making passes with an old credit card , one fin at a time from the edge of the undamaged areas "into" the smashed area to straighten the badly crushed fins, and then using this radiator fin comb to "fine tune" the fins, is a slow-but-sure way to get the job done.I didn't have any problems with the fin comb teeth breaking off - if the fin is smashed so badly that the fin comb won't go through, use the old credit card or any other similar stiff, flat plastic (like a piece cut from a Tupperware container) to straighten the fins, one at a time from the undamaged edge, working towards the damaged area, and then follow-up with this fin comb. If the fin comb won't pass relatively easily from one direction, flip the comb over and pull it in the opposite direction.

Pretty cheap tool. Good for one or two uses.
I bought it to try to clean out the condenser on a window AC for someone. I duct taped it (Black plastic handle) to a wooden dowel to clean out fins INSIDE the condenser next to the fan. I never got finished and someone swiped the extra cord I got for use on another project and an old R-22 unit wasn't worth any more money to buy a 3 prong cord. The opening was only about 2 1/2 inches wide to clean the crud of years of use, and it was very slow going with the dowel. For an occasional use by a non-professional it is okay. If you are straightening fins on an outside coil or an evaporator buy a better straightener like from Lennox, etc. This was to fit in that tiny gap. If you are fixing the fins on an window AC it is OK. You are best to put a plastic mesh or metal mesh over them so you won't have to redo the job again. The metal is so soft (On fins) harsh thoughts can crush them sometimes and you lose more than 10% surface area the new R-410a units lose capacity. It might be useful for a weird fin size on coil on another cooling unit for a machine used inside somewhere. The plastic on the straightener combs are cheap and soft, so heavy use will destroy them. Not a pro tool. I got what I needed but I was expecting to use it for one job. If you use it for a bunch of projects you might be disappointed.
