I found this book after my wife wanted a divorce and told me how she was feeling about me, the lack of trust, the lack of love she wants had for me and she wanted out. I had fallen from God and I knew right then that I needed to make it right with God and my wife. I completed the book and after three weeks I have opened my heart to God once again. I feel that I have made some major changes in my heart through God and his forgiveness. My wife has forgiven me but the healing process is still on-going and I know in time we both will heal and have a much stronger and happier marriage than we ever have had. God does like divorce and if that message is on your mind read this book, seek God direction and Words and pray pray and pray again. God will answer you, maybe not today or tomorrow, but in His time.

If you have experienced infidelity in your relationship, this is a great book, AFTER you have had some healing time.I firmly believe in forgiveness, and that restoration is possible.When your heart is in the right place, and you're ready to truly give your marriage a second chance, this is a very helpful book.She's a great writer, her story, and strength are inspiring!

I highly recommend this, especially if you are going through a betrayal in your marriage. It is like a friend sitting down over coffee with you, walking you through her struggle and giving you Biblical advice how to handle your hurting heart. It does hurt, I know. But be encouraged, it won’t always hurt. God has the answers and this book points you to them. I recommend this book and also her first book about rebuilding trust.

A great book which is linked to the bible . Some of the illustrations confirms with what I have been doing to save my own marriage. It reminds me to Waite on God and to have faith that He is able to work in our lives at His time. It encourages me to wait on God . Thanks to Cindy . I am now holding on through faith.

You never can imagine that you are called to the unthinkable, but God has a better plan. He brings us through around under and over the fire for His Glory. God's promises are real. His love is never failing. He always has me in the palm of his hand.

Not at all what I was hoping for, which was concrete ways and anecdotes for moving a troubled marriage forward. This is a lot of broad overviews of ways to take it to the cross, which is certainly step one, but then some step twos and threes would be nice.

I couldn’t make it far Into this book without having religion crammed down my throat and terrible analogies that argue AGAINST the point trying to be made. It’s been a long time since I’ve flat given up on a book of any kind. Should have been titled something about a Christian marriage because this is incredibly exclusionary.

I'm not yet married but this book helped me tremendously as I consider how to prepare myself and cooperate with God for what He wants to do next in my life after the devastation of a broken relationship that ended mostly because of my faults.I recommend it for everyone and definitely for every married person.

Practical support and guidance when it feels like the world is melting around you.The reflection questions help you take time to organise how you can improve your understanding of how to move forward in a difficult moment in the marriage and if like me you want to stay marrried but want to be happier it was invaluable - a way to learn how to deal with what you never expected to be a challenge. Seasoned with the precious salt from God's Word. Gentle reminders of the truth I know offered me more comfort than I can express. I listened to the book so it's really felt like a series of counselling... But I will take the advice and hopefully we can seek counselling together.I will reread this book and highly recommended it to marriage counselors and couples alike.

This for me was a very timely book. Well written and a powerful and encouraging account of what God can do with a broken marriage through infidelity
