this stuff is great.
this stuff is great. i purchased it on a lark after watching umteen YT videos about how "best" to stake a tree, what stakes to use, what not to use, what knots to use, what knots not to use etc. this eliminates all of that. its effortless to use (cut, install, adjust) compared to all the other alternatives and is sturdy while having just enough give/stretch. only thing that confused me is why i saw NO examples on YT or anywhere else of people using this to stake trees. it also worked great to bolster up a shrub damaged by ice this winter. and i plan to use it to train some of the new plantings.

Must-have product for gardening and storage!
How did I ever get along with out this???? So easy to use, and re-use, over and over. It doesn't cut into the bark on delicate plants, but it's strong enough to train large growth. Works great on vines, shrubs, small trees, and even stuff like garden hoses and extension cords. Awesome invention!!

Could have used a smaller quantity
Very easy to use because they adjust so well and almost any blade will cut them. I just wish I didn't have to buy a huge length of it for a couple of baby trees.

Superb Product
Outstanding product. Easy to use, flexible, doesn't harm trees/plants whether it be arborvitae, tomato plants, etc. Ties can be removed, adjusted, reused. The one inch width is great for shoring up arborvitae, especially the lower half of the arborvitae, where the branches are strongest and need strong support. The half inch width works super for the upper portion of arborvitaes, where not as much suppirt is needed to shore up the branches. The half inch width is also perfect to support tomatos to a pole, etc. Buying more.

Good product
Easy to use. I like its adjustable to size of plant. So as plant grows I can make bigger. I used some for my giant sunflowers. The rod I attached my strap to would bend from the weight of the sunflower in the wind before the strap broke.

Great product. A little softer than the first locking ...
Great product. A little softer than the first locking plant & Cable I bought on here in a smaller quantity, but still adequate for small plants. I use it every year for my tomato plants to tie the branches to the cages as they get longer. I also us it to tie Roses and other fairly small plants that get tall and top heavy. It will last for many years if you just remove and save it from one year to the next. That is what I do. It is impervious to sun and winter. I have some that's been in the yard for 4 years. Much better than plastic tape that stretches and rots and has to be thrown away into a landfill every season. I do have one complaint however and that is I got the 250 roll this time and it came on a cardboard reel. Really? Never going to hold up even for a day. I will have to rewind it onto something else.

I"m not happy with this plastic
I"m not happy with this plastic. I was expecting the hard rubber and this is soft. It stretches and you will have to keep tightening them once they stretch out. It is great to tie things together that does not involve high wind, like extensions cords, rope, and yes on fishing boats for poles, etc. The trees that I have attached these too (about 3inch diameter base) still sway and can loosen the ground around the tree roots. Will have to see how they perform in high wind. I might change my mind on this for stabilizing trees.Update: 12/28/2017. Not happy. It just keeps on stretching until it breaks. It has broken 3 times on me since I bought this plastic ties. Constantly retying. I would not buy this again. In fact, I'm trying to give it away to neighbors.

Works great for freshly planted trees
Using it for keeping a couple of newly planted small trees upright. I have seen this stuff for many years and although the type i have seen are harder plastic... this is perfect for what I need. Allows me to adjust as necessary and also does not dig into the tree like rope does. Although it seems as though a 100' box seems like a lot.... it really is not. After two trees with three stakes each (in a windy area) I used about 30-40' already. With that said, the price was great.

You won’t be disappointed!
Many of my small trees are splitting and falling over. These little plastic locks work great. You cut it down to the size you need, slip it around your tree and lock it together. So simple! This is saved my backyard. Great price for great quality product. You won’t be disappointed !

Great product for fixing winter damage to cedar trees
We bought this product to fix our cedar trees from the winter damage this past year. It worked amazing. My husband punched a hole through the center of the box and strung a strap through it so he could wear the box over his shoulder while going up and down the ladder as our trees are quite high, this worked amazing!! Would recommend this product to anyone who has branches they need to tie up and we are hoping next year it'll save us having to do it again.

Works really well to hold my tree branches together
I installed these in place of rope, which wasn't very healthy for the tree. I'm hoping they last long term, since they're holding on pretty tight. Let's see how they hold over the winter, but for now, so far so good.
