I think these are so ancient that they've gone bad. They have a horrible smell that's almost like acetone, leave a greasy feeling on the skin, and I had a bunch of pimples the day after I used them. No oil-free almay removers have ever done that to me.

I just don't like washing my face in the sink. Don't like getting my hair and clothing, even if PJs, wet.I've tried many no-rinse towelettes. I do like this one. In fact, I had just splurged and tried a really high-end brand (pricey too, I might add), and I'm pretty sure it was the cause of some minor itching. Switched to this one (Almay) and the itching subsided. I even use it to remove eye make-up and have had no problems or reactions.There may be a tad of a residue left, which is common with this sort of product. But most of it will go away if you just wait a little bit. I now use a toner after the wipes in the a.m. (don't really care about a light residue in p.m.), and the toner not only removes the very-slight residue but benefits my skin.About the residue: it may not be that at all, could be that this towelette is simply non-drying. Not sure.Almay cleansing towelettes are effective, non-irritating, and nicely priced.

These wipes work as advertised, but they aren't for me. The smell reminds me of ant spray, and the aren't very moist (although again, they seem to do the job). I needed something in a pinch, but there are plenty of other brands I'd be happy to purchase over these.

I tried these on a whim & now they are my holy grail makeup remover wipes. They have perfect texture not rough on the face but not soft to where it doesn't feel like it's picking up anything. I notice my face more clear each time I use! When I don't wear makeup I still like to wipe my face with them at night & let the excess sink in my skin, I wake up with beautiful radiant skin. Worth the price!

I tried these because the current version of their individual oil-free pads (which I've used for years) now sting my eyes terribly. I had found a version of these wipes that worked perfectly and had no smell -- but can't find them anymore either. So tried these. They are effective: they remove makeup and waterproof mascara. But the smell is just nauseating. I'm throwing them away.Almay, what's the story? Your changing your formulations, apparently. And not for the better. Instead of having a million different versions of these, why not stick to a few that include a fragrance-free / oil-free version? And stop changing the packaging. Those changes provide no value to your customers, and cause us to have to hunt for the product that works for us.

I have tried many of the different facial cleaner towelettes and this one is by far my favorite! It has no smell; the others either smell like baby wipes ew! or insect repellent super ew!My skin feels clean and moisturized afterwards. I tried NOT applying my 2 usual moisturizers (eye cream and facial) afterwards just to see what would happen - and my face felt terrific!Highly recommended!

DON'T BUY, UNLESS YOU LIKE DRY SMELLY WIPES.

These towelettes are wonderful. So gentle on your skin and have a great fragrance...not to overpowering yet pleasant.The value for the price is also highly recommended.
