Batiste Dry Styling Plumping Powder, 5 Gram

I put this product to the ultimate test.My hair is fine and I don’t have enough of it to always keep my ears covered. (Thanks Dad) After drying my hair, I applied JUST A TRACE of this powder to the places where I wanted my roots to stand up and when I say I was amazed....that’s an understatement.I work outside and later that day it dumped rain. My hair still looked fabulous! I am always re-adjusting my hair because my ears constantly poke through. I’m ultra self-conscious about it. Not once all night did I have to adjust my hair. And surprisingly, neither the viscosity of the product, nor the volume of my hair, ever changed! IKR?!They should have called this stuff Magic Dust.Tips: • Use just a trace on fingertips • Apply at the roots with just a couple swipes. •Swipe in the opposite direction that your hair grows.You are so welcome.

This is my first time using texture powder. I'm glad i ignored the comments on this, bc i might not have bought it after reading them. I don't know the standard for texture powders so perhaps most brands pack their bottles completely full, perhaps the texture is different than other brands. Idk, my experience with this product was good, but I can't compare it to other brand's texture powders.I have a silky texture to my hair so it usually falls flat (even with hairspray) and doesn't have much texture. So to dry hair, I started small, only added a few taps on my roots, and wow. I can't believe I've never used a product like this before. For me, it holds similar to hair spray but the hair stays voluminous, and I love using this on a curly/wavy style and spreading it through using a wide tooth comb.I will say that the shampoo I regularly use does NOT wash this out. I have to use twice as much shampoo to get my hair feeling clean again. So I would recommend using a clarifying shampoo at least once a week when using this product, to prevent build up.

I didn't notice a scent with this product. It is a great price and does a great job volumizing my short pixie hairstyle. I had been previously using a product that was 4x more in cost and I'm very pleased with the job this product does for a fraction of the cost.

I have a lot of hair but it’s quite limp at the roots. Mousse isn’t strong enough and gel is too heavy. This works great especially on second and third days after a hair wash. I actually apply some to my fingers and tousle with my head upside down which seems to work better.

A little goes a long way. Sprinkle some on the palm of your hand and then use the other hand to grab a little powder at a time to run it along areas of hair that need a little lift. It creates a slight tackiness that helps to keep volume when you tease your hair.

Okay so I have used a lot of texture powders and thickening tonics and dry shampoos because I have not thinning but fine hair and generally these work amazing but I used the xxl plumping powder and it looked like it was working but it got reeaaally weird it started clumping my hair together and started separating into different sections and weighing it down I’ve never seen my hair much worse then that. On top of that it also gets super oily when it gets wet which is cool for when your washing it out I’m not going to lie but if it ever gets rainy or u put it in your hair wet (on accident you shouldn’t put it in wet) it makes your hair shiny and oily and lose all texture. The only reason I’m not giving it 1 star is because this is just personal experience and it looks like other people highly rate this. Either way in my opinion just pay the extra money and buy mr.pompador

You can not beat the value of this product. Works as stated and much more reasonable than some other. I found that it can leave some build up between washes but worth the price.

Puder hält was er bverspricht, gibt Volumen und Halt. Allerdings werden die Haare sehr trocken. Dafür muss man sich allerdings den ganzen Tag nicht mehr um die Frisur kümmern. Sitzt.
