I can wear my glasses in the PIT!!!
I used to go to shows and never see the bands because I didn't want to lose my glasses in the pit, so I'd leave em at home. What a waste, I could have just had these croakies! I'm 40 now, but I show the kids how it is done with these babies on!!! Brought em to Metallica, no problem. Then brought them to POWER TRIP which, let me tell you the second they went on beer cans were flying, and it was all rear ends and elbows, and I had my (fogged up at times) glasses on for the whole show and tore it up in the pit! Oh yeah!

Love the Croakie!
As a former paratrooper I used to wear a Croakies retainer while jumping out of airplanes moving at 140 MPH 1200 feet above ground level. I never lost my glasses during those jumps because I had a Croakie holding them on. As a Soldier leading a very active work life in all kinds of conditions I was confident wearing eyeglasses because I knew Croakie was not going to fail me. Guys who wore just sunglasses started using them too, so they wouldn't lose them during an assault or when wearing clear eye protection at night.

Keeps my sunglasses on my face! Yay!
These were a tiny bit difficult to get onto my sunglasses, but that's good. Were it easy to get them on, it would be easy for them to come off. Once these are on, they are ON! The pair of sunglasses I had them on broke (I accidentally leaned on them while they were in my backpack), and getting them off and onto my new pair was a bit difficult but again, that's a good thing. They are comfortable and I know my sunglasses will stay on my head!

Fit my glasses, get the job done. Keeps ...
Fit my glasses, get the job done. Keeps my glasses on my face when I'm at work running around. They were always falling off when I would look down or put a mask on to do a procedure. I don't have to ask anyone to grab my glasses now when they are about to fall off my face into a sterile field. I wish the ends stayed a little cleaner looking. The front part starts too look a little used/frayed. But not a huge problem and doesn't effect function.

comfortable
I have avoided buying a glasses strap for the thought of having a rubber band wrapped around my head. These fit nice and are easy to adjust so they hang on but are not tight

Fit well and comfortably...with a little patience
I've just tried the one I ordered; it seems very well made. The only way to adjust the fit, though, is by changing how far you thread the temples (arms) of your glasses up through the sleeves of the retainer. If you have a small head, you have to thread farther. Fortunately, my sunglasses have fairly straight, thin (1/4 inch) temples, as the retainer's sleeve openings are fairly small. With my 21 1/2 inch noggin, I had to push the sleeves up almost to the hinges. It took me a while to find the right fit. Once I did, though, the retainer held my glasses very securely and very comfortably. Perhaps the sleeve openings will loosen up with use. In the meantime, I have a strong motivation to leave the retainer on my glasses.

They work well if you have very wide/thick ear pieces.
I have 3 pairs of glasses (sun glasses, computer, driving) and they each have a different size temple/ear piece. These fit the biggest/widest well. The medium size is a bit loose and they slip off the ends several times per day. They're totally worthless for the thinnest ear piece. I have a competitor's brand that fits the two smaller sizes, but not the biggest. So they're useful, and they work. I've used Croakies before, and they hold up pretty well over time. But it would be nice if they had a wider array of glasses they did fit.

Agree with other reviews, product not worth the price
I really should have read the reviews prior to purchasing this product. This product is essentially a length of neoprene that is ~3/4 inch wide and 16 in long. The two ends have been sewn over to create a sleeve that will fit over your eyeglasses-- one hopes!!! I found, along with many of the other reviewers, that the sleeves are just too narrow for the polarized glasses I was trying to secure. Granted, the frames at the temple are wide, and had I read the reviews, I probably would have went with a different style of eyewear retainer. But!!! it was also not worth it to me to return these, so I was trying to figure out a solution to make them work. What I did was cut open the sleeves so now I had the 3/4 wide length of neoprene. There was a narrow part of the frame (about 3/8 in wide and 1/8 in thick). So I sewed the neoprene back together over this narrow part and voila, eyeglass retainer. The only disadvantage to this is that the neoprene is permanently affixed to the sunglass frame. And I paid way too much for a length of neoprene.BTW, the end of the temple arms for the sunglasses I was trying to fit into the sleeves was 1/2 inch wide. So definitely don't try to use these if your sunglasses are those dimensions. There's no way a 3/4 inch wide piece of neoprene can get wrapped around a temple tip that is 1/2 inch. It might possibly work if your temple tips are up to 3/8 inch wide, but I think these will work best for wire-type temple arms.FYI, if you have frames that have wide arms, I believe there was a Croakies XL product to consider.

FANTASTIC Croakies XL Eyewear Retainer
Croakies are the best type of eyewear retainer I have ever used. I have a few pairs of glasses which have wider side arms and the Croakies fit them perfectly. Once the Croakies are fitted to my glasses, I am them confident that I won't lose them as, once off your face, they just rest comfortably around your neck meaning that I didn't lose them. They also last for a very long time (my first pair I bought in the US some 25 years ago and that pair are still going strong!).
