This oil is comparable to Do Terra's On Guard, but it is not the exact same blend. On Guard uses Orange Peel oil, while this uses Lemon oil. Both have similar effects, so I feel that this is a great replacement for Do Terra's expensive oil. The scent is a bit different than On Guard (the clove and cinnamon is stronger), but I think it smells better.With On Guard, I often apply it directly to my skin, but with this, you should always dilute with a carrier oil (I use coconut oil). Even when applying to the bottom of the feet. It is much stronger, so keep that in mind, especially when applying to children, which I honestly wouldn't recommend, unless it is heavily diluted.When diffusing, I feel that the fumes are more beneficial for treating cold/flu than On Guard. I feel that they work better because they are more potent.Some uses for this oil that I have tried areoil pulling: I use 1 - 1.5 tbs of coconut oil with ONE drop of this oil. Anything more would be way too strong. Swish the oil around in the mouth for 15 minutes then spit. Works well for cold and flu symptoms. Totally took all of mine away.all-purpose cleaner: 20 drops of this oil, 1 cup distilled water and 1/2 cup white vinegar (be sure to store it in a glass bottle, as EO can erode plastics. I find that this oil works better than On Guard for cleaner because it has lemon over orange, and lemon is a better cleaning agent!diffusing: I put 6 drops of this oil and diffuse it overnight by the bedside at the first signs of a cold, and I usually feel loads better in the morning.In all, this is a very versatile oil that is as good as or better than Do Terra's On Guard. I will be switching to this oil from now on because of the price.

I purchased this as a replacement for the more expensive YL "Abundance" which I love.... This is not EXACTLY the same, how could it be, its a different company! But, It is DELIGHTFUL. I put a dab on myself, and also used it in my difuser, and I am very happy with this purchase. I plan to purchase more of their products as well.ALso, this was not a PRIME item, and I want to note that the Seller shipped it Super Fast, and it arrived much faster than I had expected , right in my mailbox, packaged VERY WELL, with a handwritten not from the Seller...Great Item & Great Seller!I recommend 100%

I can't compare this brand to any other because it's the first time I've used Thieves essential oil. But I can give you anecdote of how it killed an infection lickety-split.My wife was diagnosed with a virus and a mold infection, both of which had lodged in her sinus cavities (we use a Naturopath). We used Grapefruit seed extract liquid (Nutribiotic Gse Liquid Concentrate, 2 Fluid Ounce) to kill the mold and virus (about 2-3 drops and a pinch of salt in one of those little plastic spray inhaler bottles filled with water). She felt a lot better the next day, and the nearly unbearable pressure in her ears had disappeared overnight.However, the infection had moved into her mouth, and especially into a tooth that had received a root canal years before. Our Naturopath recommended we mix a dropperful of Golden Seal and a dropperful of Myrrh in a tablespoon or two of coconut oil, and when combined mix in a few drops of Thieves. My wife placed this paste on the tooth and around the gums several times that day. The next day the tooth pain had subsided, and the following day it was completely gone.She continued the spray and the nasal spray and the coconut oil paste for a few more days... just to be sure.

I bought this oil because I was tired of paying so much for more expensive brands. The quality is pretty good, but not what I was used to. I guess you get what you pay for.

Caveat emptor, oil-loving friends. This oil blend has a strong, harsh, artificial, chemical scent that is problematic, to say the least. I gave it one sniff and then decided to return it.There is no way I am diffusing this in my home or using it on my body.

It is a wonderful product! I take it daily with other oils to control MRCR infections. The oils were used exclusively to heal the last sore I developed at the end of May. With the oils I did not need antibiotics to kill the infection and the oils, so far, have been battling new ones. I usually get at least one every few months, but have not since using the Gang of Five as one of my maintenance items to improve my health. I wouldn't go a day with out it now!

I purchased this item because I was looking for something similar to OnGuard but more cost effective. It arrived quickly and I started diffusing right away. My son had a terrible flu, and I was doing everything I could to avoid getting it. I diffused Gang of Five each day and also put a tiny bit on the back of my neck and a little bit right under my nose so I was breathing it in all day! I never got sick. It made my house smell great for the holidays as well!!

I like this product. Similar to Theives brand (clean spicy smell) and much less expensive. It is not quite as complex as Theives which is still my favorite but for the price, it is a good value. Also I like the little glass roll-on bottle. It takes a minute to get it started -- get the oil to lubricate the roll, but then it works well. I see these bottles sold separately at Whole Foods and online so it is a decent bonus and it makes it more likely I will use the oil more often.
