This rug tape does what it advertises and does it very well.Some reviewers have suggested using shorter pieces but I did not find that necessary. I added it along each side of the carpet in one long piece per side. And then very firmly pressed onto the entire length of the tape so it would adhere properly to the bottom of the rug.I then let it sit for about 30 minutes, and then carefully peeled off one corner with my finger nail. The entire strip of tape backing came off in one long piece on each side very easily. I then carefully place the rug onto my concrete flooring.I used it on one small rug and one medium size rug. I also have one 9 x 12 throw rug that I think having two people will be much easier to apply.The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five stars is that the tape itself is shrink wrapped in a plastic that’s quite hard to remove. I’ve seen tapes for other applications that are packed in a hard plastic case, that seems like that would be better for the situation.I will definitely buy this again and recommend to friends.

I needed to secure a rug in my booth at a vintage mall. The problem? It is carpet-to-carpet, which is typically not recommended. After researching tapes, I came across The Good Stuff Carpet Tape and decided to give it a try. I am happy to report that after 9 months of daily use, the carpet remains secure with no ripples or corners pulling up! I have not tried to remove the carpet, so there is nothing to report on ease of removal. The tape itself is very sticky but relatively easy to work with. I had someone helping me cut the tape while laying the carpet, which made the process go smoothly. The order arrived quickly, and the packaging was good.

I was tired of adjusting my rugs. I have some on carpet because I lived in a place with all bare floors but moved into a house with carpeted b rooms. Carpets can add so much color to a room so I wanted to keep them. I’ve been afraid to put tape on new carpet but found this one and tried a little piece just to see how it would come up after a few days. It came up fine without pulling at the carpet or leaving sticky residue. I’ve taped down the rigs and they are holding very nicely. No more adjusting rugs daily I’ve got the color I want in my rooms and am very pleased with this product. I’ve also used it to stick rugs to the rug pads so there is no slippage there either. Working great!

Will not work for outside rugs laid out on concrete. Works OK for inside rugs but mine still move. I would suggest you try another brand.

I have a creeping baby and my carpets won’t stay in place. This works great!

This was used to keep my rug in place. This is actually very good. If you have rugs that you would like to keep in one area without moving ,but at the same time if you need to move it is just as easy ......Good Stuff Rug tape is the best choice.

Good Adhesion. Does what it is suppose to do and easy enough to use. Will have to wait for if it's easy to remove from hardwood!

Tape works great when you go around the whole perimeter of the carpet/rug. If you just use it in a few spots, I found it not to be strong enough and the carpet would move. I also tried using it for my kids paper poster on their walls but it's not strong enough for that. Very easy to use.

I bought a huge and relatively inexpensive rug to cover the crappy study carpet in my rental. It took no time at all for the rug to move around every time I walked on it, plus it refused to lie flat from where the table legs were. I was about to give up and then I bought this tape and it was a total gamechanger. The rug was so 'warped' that it took 2 of us to pull the rug back into shape and stick it down to the carpet - but it worked and my rug hasn't moved since we taped it down 3 months ago. Highly recommend!

Unsure about removal, but super easy to install for area rugs, very pleased!
