Q: Are these short or long?

These are not long, They are perfect as far as boxers go. Not short like regular underwear. Past the crotch area & they sit at the top of his thigh. My son Loves them & now won't wear any other kind!

Q: Does it shrink after dryer? Shall I buy a size up?

Does not shrink post dryer use. We bought the exact right size and my boys likes it a lot. They play basketball and are happy with these.
