12 Piece Nested Polypropylene Mixing Bowl Food Storage Set with Lids, Red

These are cute and easily stackable; the sizes are wonderful but the plastic is super thin... they don't seem very sturdy for "cooking" with. I'd use them more as food storage bowls than mixing bowls. Also, don't add liquids to keep in the bowl unless you know it will 100% be right-side up the whole time. They don't have much of a lip so it's very easy for the lids to pop off and/or for the the liquid to leak out (even if the lid is on).Overall, the sizes are great . Color options are nice for easily recognizing your Tupperware rather than mixing them up with someone else's. I have had many better mixing bowl sets: ones that are more durable, are more ideal working with different temperatures of food, and better for liquids.

I bought these right after a big move and have been quite happy with this set. I haven't experienced any issues with the lids being hard to remove, as mentioned in other reviews. There are little side tabs on the lids to make removal easy, especially when letting excess air out of a full container.I wash the lids by hand and suggest soaking bowls that have had dark sauces in them as dark sauces can sometimes discolored any Tupperware or plastic container.I'm visually impaired, and the different colors for each size is very helpful. I use the larger bowls for movie nights and I just pop a lid on leftover popcorn or chips instead of trying to dump everything into a big ziplock bag.

Very disappointed in the quality of these bowls. We had purchased these bowls because my parents have the same set, and we loved theirs. Unfortunately when we received our set, it looked used. It had scratches all over each bowl, and they looked like they had already been used. The lids were very flimsy, and didn't even fit onto the bowls. Another strike and another reason to be incredibly disappointed.

These came with two broken lids (tabs snapped off) and that makes getting those lids off harder than necessary.The bowls seem tough, but one use of an electric beater roughed up the inner surface a little already. Maybe that's O.K. I doubt it could get much rougher over time, so perhaps this is expected. At least they are microwave safe.The big problems for these bowls is there is only a tiny lip on the rim, and the bottom, so there is nothing to get a good grip on, like a 1/4" lip or wider. They are hard to hold steady, and it's hard to pick up and pour stuff since it's almost like holding onto a basketball with one hand. So one-harded jobs become two-handed jobs, and that's not good in the kitchen when you often need the second hand to hold a spoon or whisk or silicone spatula, etc.In the bottom of the bowl there is a circular crease where food clings and it's harder to scrub things out of that crease. Many bowls have a completely smooth interior, so cleaning them is easy, but these have that crease, which makes it take longer to thoroughly clean the food out of that crease.They nest well, but you have to store the lids someplace else. Maybe you only need a lid once in a while, but it's not easy to store them together in minimal room.While they are sturdy and do most jobs and are microwave and dishwasher safe, if I'm honest, I have buyer's remorse, mostly because they are too hard to manipulate with one hand and there is no decent way to grip the bowl as securely as a bowl with a bigger lip on it, or a rounded rim. Only the fact the bowls I have that do have a bigger a lip or rounded rim are not microwave safe led me to buy these.

The bowls work for great for the intended purpose. The lids are flimsy though and if you accidentally bend them, they do not stay on. I purchased them because they are microwave safe and also light-weight which is what I need. Due to my age and an injury in my wrist, the glass containers I own are too heavy to lift and use often. I needed something lighter and these are perfect for that. If I intend to travel with food, I would use my glass containers for safety.

I only owned this 4 wks and already 2 lids have broken lid parts. The bowls are cute and colorful but cheaply made. And it says I can’t get a refund, not sure why? I’ve only used them once, and they break.

I just got these and tried to open the bowls one by one since they are nested within each other and I didn't even bother opening number 3 and below because I was hurting my hand just trying to get the first 2 lids off! They are impossible to open! They were very hard to close back up too. They are very lightweight so they seem cheap like dollar store plastic. Not what I was expecting.

I've owned these bowls for five months, they go through the dishwasher and microwave nicely, the size range is convenient and useful, and they have been a welcome addition to my kitchen food storage options. I cannot speak to whether or not the lids are tight enough for transport where they could be turned upside down as that's not how I use them, but they are perfect for what I want and a very good value for the price. 10/10 would buy again
