Awesome!
Im a big Star Wars fan and this was right uo my alley. Good sound, movie accurate, could be louder but maybe thats just me. The blade is a good contruction polycarbonate, leds are nice and bright, tiny little dark rings in the LED strip in the blade but you cant tell unless your really trying to find them. You can strike things lightky with it and the sound feedback is fantastic, I would not suggest full on dueling however, the blade is sturdy, but dueling will definatley break it. The hilt/handle is a strong lightweight machined aluminum and feels well weighted in hand. I like Force FX they make great sabers for the price. Definatley gonna buy another.

Fantastic "laser" sword
Simply couldn't be happier to own this lightsaber. Great length. Super bright. Built well. Not too heavy. Got it on sale for $105 and it was worth every penny of it to me. As a fan who still remembers watching the original Star Wars movie back in '77, it brought a smile to my face the second I took it out of the box. If I was going to nitpick about it, I wish it were just a touch louder and the ignition sound isn't 100% accurate. But that's something even hardcore fans should overlook as this item is still a pleasure to own. Can't wait to display it on the wall.

Great gift/collectible and a lot of fun
The media could not be loaded. First lightsaber I bought and it made me want to buy another one. I've always wanted a real looking lightsaber and I think for the price this is the closest you're gonna get. The sound effects are very good not 100% movie accurate but who cares. The color is perfect and looks incredible in the dark. It is also surprisingly sturdy, but i wouldnt slam these against eachother too much or too hard. All in all very happy with the product. I bought it for myself because I love collectibles but this would make a great gift for any star wars fan.

For the Discerning Nerd with Disposable Income
The lightsaber is a iconic object of nerd fascination and pop culture relevance. I consider myself to be a casual Star Wars fan, but even then, I hadn’t been this excited about a toy in a very, very long time.Overall, the product itself is sturdy and well built:The metal on the hilt has a brushed aluminum look and has just enough heft to not feel “toy-ish”. It feels great. The black on-off switch does feels kinda loose and wonky. Purists will point out that the tan ring below the base of the blade is too wide and therefore isn’t true movie replica quality. Perhaps Hasbro made this ring wider for structural integrity concerns? If that kind of thing bothers you, then you might want to look at offbrand options for replica accuracy. The blade is bright, the color is spot-on, and it’s most impressive in low-light environments or darkness. I’ve read that these products can sometimes have visible dead zones between LEDs, but I’m not able to discern any such imperfections on this one.The motion sensor is very responsive to your movement, and accompanying sound effects are satisfying. The speaker’s volume is in the Goldilocks range; not too quiet or too loud. From my own research, it appears there are many pros and cons when comparing the vanilla Force Fx line against other licensed lightsaber products or offbrand variations, but that all comes down to what kind of experience you’re seeking and what your price point is. If your intention is cosplaying or high-impact dueling choreography, then you might be suited elsewhere. For me, it’s nice to fart around with, and it’s a great party trick.Overall, I’m very satisfied, and plan on purchasing other Force Fx variations.

A Jedi's weapon
Take your Jedi weapon and strike me down with all your anger! This lightsaber is really nice and so much fun to play with for this Adult-kid. The quality of the construction is very high and seems to be consistent with this price point. The blade glows really bright and the sound effects are very good. I like how it activates bottom -to -top and deactivates top- to- bottom. I was almost going to deduct one star since the sound effects are not totally movie accurate and neither is the handle, but to me they are close enough to still give 5 stars. I look forward to testing this out in battle to see if it is as durable as it seems. Very impressed so far.

Expectations Exceeded, Great Product
I'm a Star Wars fan in so much as I grew up with it, appreciate the longevity, and want my kids to also enjoy as I had decades earlier. I am not a person who dresses up or goes to conventions so I won't criticize tiny details. With that said, this and similar Force FX light sabers are quite possibly the coolest little acquisition I've made this year. The metal handle gives it solid weight, the sound effects are great, and the LED lights are bright and go on/off just like in the move. I even whack these against each other with my 4 year old son. Plus every 30+ year old dude who comes by is very impressed.

Very cool.
It's a beast and we love it! My daughter has the fx version that changes from Skywalker to Vader. We wanted another of that style since it's pretty cool... But we needed Yoda. So after humming and hawing for like two years we bought this. It's metal handle makes it heavy, and it's longer and brighter than the smaller toy. It's awesome, and we are all enjoying playing with these as a family, although the girls aren't allowed to use the adult one due to price and weight :) Lol.
