Milnot Original Filled Milk, 12 Ounce (Pack of 24)

This stuff is getting harder and harder to find. What I like about it is how it whips up to nearly a whipped cream consistency. Ordinary condensed milk or evaporated milk does not do that.

I was really happy to find this on Amazon. It is very hard to find in my area. I have used Milnot for years for homeade ice cream, cheesecake, pumpkin pie and all my homemade candies. I find Milnot has a much creamier taste than other canned milks.

This product was a Christmas gift for my mother. She was in love with Milnot as a child. This milk made every dish 10x creamier, richer & thicker! My banana pudding was unbelievably delicious! II will not be using any other brand of evaporated milk. You have got to try it yourself!

Milnot was a favorite of my ex motherinlaw's to make gravy and add to mashed potatoes. I could not find it in stores for the past decade. Now I have a case of it and will come back to get more when I run out!

Charge a premium, but no real alternative supplier

I cannot find this product when I am down in FL and am happy to be able to order it on Amazon. The product is fantastic, Amazon's packaging of this product was substandard. Amazon failed to put any cushioning in the box so ½ of every can came dented after the UPS man threw this over the fence doing his best emulation of Dan Marino or Bob Griese. Likewise there wasn't any indication on the box that this product might be "perishable" so if I had not seen UPS pull up, the box would have sat on a hot driveway on a smoldering 100F So. FL day for hours ultimately ruining the product.Milnot = 5 starsAmazon's packaging equals a minus 1 star.

This ingredient (Milnot) was the missing ingredient in my mom's old recipe's I now have. I found it at Amazon, bought it and used it and it brought back so many memories of those treasured bakery items she would make in my childhood. I am so glad I found it and nothing has changed it. This brought back the taste I was craving from those recipes. Thank you. I thought this was gone from existence it has been so many years. So Happy Amazon had it. The cost of the 12 OZ cans in a pack of 24 makes it about the same cost as buying canned milk or condensed milk in stores today but the taste is something those products cannot match.
