Super Value for a Great Chair
Incredibly well made chair. I did a lot of research before buying this particular chair and it turned out to be a great choice. Relatively light weight (37 pounds), this is built like a tank and rolls over hard surfaces with an absolute minimal effort. The brakes are super tight and there's no danger of tipping..either forward or backward. Seat and back are semi cushioned but I added a stadium gel seat and now its just as comfortable as my living room lounger. I brought a DRIVE 19" aluminum lightweight chair (17 pounds) to haul my wife back and forth to therapy session so this chair is just used around the house but it's a real keeper. The physical therapist who comes to the house has seen a lot of chairs and she thought I'd paid at least $400 bucks for the Karman...not $150.

Works great, folds up for airplane/car travel.
My wife can't walk far at present, and for a family Christmas trip, we needed to have a way for her to join in. The wheelchair worked well for us. She has since had a scheduled medical treatment for her back will allow her to walk again, but if not, the chair works well when she needs to walk further than a walker will allow. The chair folds up well, and we were able to have Southwest airlines gate check it, and have it available immediately after deplaning. Our only real issue is we tried to put a Nova drink holder on the chair (she had previously used the Nova on her walker), and there was no obvious way to install it.My wife is perhaps 250lb, and the chair held fine. We did put a pad on the chair. In case anybody else is a first time buyer, I had rented a full size car at the destination, and the chair did not fit in the trunk with 3 large suitcases. Fortunately we only had the two of us, and I put the chair in the back seat. If we travel again with the chair, I likely will need to rent a SUV or van for larger luggage room. This chair is NOT misdesigned, I just didn't factor it into the luggage space needed when selecting a rental car. I would imagine if the chair were smaller when folded up, it would not support a 300lb weigth.

Lightweight wheel
Was impressed that it came fully assembled and with no shipping damage. Easy to wheel around and fold up. Only wish the handles were another five inches higher because you have to bend over to push the wheelchair. Other then that, it is an excellent item .

Great for narrow doorways
When I broke my ankle, days before I was to take my grandkids to Disney World, this chair was a God send! It arrived in just 2 days in perfect condition.Lighter weight and easy to fold, it fit right in our van along side all our luggage. It took a beating during our visit to all four kingdoms, but held up quite well. Even on all the cobblestones areas. It’s lightweight made it easier for me to steer myself than the heavier model I had looked at renting and was far less costly too.It was narrow enough to to fit through the doorways of our hotel rooms, without scrapping through and fit through the narrow doorways of our older home too.

The seat is an inch small than the same model number I bought from Walgreens
These are cheaply made, the vinyl on the armrest is already ripped and we just put it together in June. You get what you pay for I guess. The seat is smaller than the same exact model number I bought three years ago from Walgreens. That one lasted pretty good with my brother going to dialysis three times a week. This one is uncomfortable, even with a special pillow. I could not put a brand new seatbelt on it because the area to put it was too small. Someone gave me a chair for him and he fit perfectly in it so I know it is this chair's problem. Also the new seatbelt fit perfectly on the used chair. I guess they thought we would notice it was smaller. If you need a short term, easy, right out of the box wheelchair for a couple of rides, this one is for you. It would be perfect for someone just tooling around in the house or for use at the airport.

It is a perfect fit for my wife.
No problems with this wheelchair- lite weight, wheels lock on a hill, easy to maneuver, removable foot rests, and I have had no problems with this wheelchair. My wife is 5'6" and weighs around 160Lbs and I can lift it easily into my Prius trunk. We are both 77yrs old and it is easy to lift and handle. A great purchase :)

Durable & Portable
This chair is a backup to my powered chair, so it doesn't get used as regularly as it would otherwise. I did take it with me on my last trip as it is portable and traveled well through the airport setting without a hitch, that it where is excels over my powered chair! It is not the lightest chair out there, nor is it the heaviest one either. The foot rests are easily removable, and on my model, and the feet plates can just flip up if you are able to use your feet.Over all I am very pleased with the quality, craftsmanship, price, and portability of the wheelchair!

Damaged upon delivery
A wheel chair is required for movement. This wheelchair was already damaged upon delivery. The left flip up footplate was scratched on its surface and the retainer screw to secure the webbing had been pulled through the footplate itself.Appears very roughly handled or maybe a return from another user. Either one displays very poor Quality Assurance and very poor attention to shipping condition. Since the wheelchair is needed it will not be returned and we will devise a repair.
