All Power America APG3590CN 10000 Watt Propane Portable Generator w/Electric Start for Home Backup Power, Hurricane Damage Restoration, RV Standby, Green/Black

Purchased this to run my shop during power outage. Have't used it in 7 months until 9-14-2018 as power went out in Hurricane florence. I had it put together and waiting full of oil and ran to make sure it would start. One thing is the wheels aren't good for soft ground, lucky for me i didn't have to roll it far. The other drawback I found is its a gas hog went through a 10 gallon tank of LP gas in 6 hours and is really loud. It sucked down 50 gallons of Lp in 6 days just running 5-7 hours a day. So Loud I didn't put up with it any more than I had too. It cranked on 3-4 pull of starter cord and the battery charged by the end of first day. Used electric start the remaining time I cranked it...

I have been able to assemble and test the unit and it does work. The users manual is horrible. The parts for assembling the wheels and feet are not like what is shown or described. The oil fill is hard to get to without spilling oil even with a funnel. Would be nice if they told you how much oil it takes (1 quart). I have 20/20 vision but needed a magnifying glass to read the labels on the drawings in the manual. Comes with a large wrench that doesn’t seem to fit anything. No tools provided to tighten the nuts you need to use,many of which are very hard to reach. The battery comes tightly mounted under its bracket but completely wrapped in bubble wrap so you have to uninstall it and reinstall it. A major pain to get ready for use, but once you do it starts easily and provides the specified current.

DON'T FORGET 2 ADD OIL.who says Chinese don't make quality items!

We haven't had to use it yet but since we want a connection to our electrical box so we don't have to use extension wires for everything, we had our electrician check it out - he said it's a great generator and couldn't believe the price I got it for. I will update this review if we ever have the need to use it do a test run once the electrical stuff is completed. UPDATE: Finally got to use the generator and we are totally satisfied! Runs great, easy to start, not too noisy (I think it's quieter than the gas generators that were running in the neighborhood). Only had to run it a few hours but had no problems using it. Would highly recommended this generator.

Product assembled easy (rear foot, frount wheels & hookups). It worked when I tested the 120VAC output. However, the unit arrived with a bent topplate. Thankfully, a friend got most of the bend out. A company rep indicated that they would send a replacement top plate. If the plate shows up, I change my rating to 5 star.

Included new battery, wheel kit and connecting propane hoses. 10,000 starting watts, 7500 running. Easily powers most circuits in my home. I use an interlock switch so I can power any circuit if I want. Obviously not all require being active at once. With some common sense one can easily manage all electric needs during a power outage. Price no one competes with. It has only been a month or so of ownership so only time will tell regarding reliability. It however appears to be well made. The few drawbacks would be the plastic wheels, they work ok but I would have preferred rubber, or inflatable. Also the top panels are fragile with regard to denting. Mostly decorative anyway so that’s no big deal. Like the lime green color!

This item came damaged, which sucks. But I will tell you. The manufacturer JD north america has THE BEST customer service I have ever seen. I emailed them directly, got a call back in 30 seconds! Had a new part I need ordered in 5 min. And if the part doesnt work, they will be sending a service tech to my house no questions asked. This day in age, customer service like this is few and far between.

I bought this in 2016 but it didn't arrive in time for Matthew. I never unbowed it until 2017 for Irma. Assembly was quick and easy. I didn't expect the electric start to work since it had been sitting for a year. Lo and behold I turned the key and she fired right up. She ran for around eight hours on a 20 lb tank.
