I saw this movie in theaters with my hubby and had a great laugh with a lot of parts. Classic Ice Age vibe consistently through out the entirety of the movie. Although the others in the theater didn't seem to either understand the humor or they were a "tough crowd" because it seemed as though we were the only two really cracking up at the movie. I would recommend seeing this installment to the Ice Age franchise. It's well worth the money. Kids will get a kick out of it and it's great entertainment for all ages really.

Worth a watch if you enjoy the series.I love this entire series and think the characters and voices are all well matched. The plots are done well and keep parents engaged. They all have a little adult humor while remaining kid friendly - Collision Course keeps that going.The main plot in this movie is stretching. For most it will be obvious they were in a rush to get another movie out and come up with an idea that could satisfy a reason to do so. Even with this in mind, it was still an enjoyable movie.Meteors are crashing to the Earth and it's going to wipe them all out. Of course they have to come up with a way to save themselves.We get to see Buck again, and that's always enjoyable. He is so insane and his character keeps you alert never knowing what he's going to do, like carry a pumpkin he thinks is a baby for the last half of the movie.Peaches is grown and has a fiance, her parents (her father mostly) struggles with the thought that she doesn't need them anymore, and she has another "man" in her life. This sub plot felt relevant as anyone who started watching with their kids in 2002 now has a teenager - maybe you were lucky enough to get your child to watch it with you like I was with mine (not quite a teen at 12) and as we experience the growing up of our children, the worry and emotion is relatable. I enjoyed this piece as Manny not only watches Peaches grow, but he also grows and learns to appreciate and respect the new man in her life.I enjoyed the few new voices. I like to watch animated movies and not look at the character voice actors immediately and try to figure out who they are and point out their other characters to my son. I picked out Max Greenfield right away as we were introduced to the dromaeosaur family. Adam DeVine voices Julian, Peaches fiance, and he was recognizable as the pizza slice from Uncle Grandpa. These were both great additions and hope to see them continue their voice work.Overall, a good film. Not great. If you're not in love with the franchise already, it's not a movie you'll appreciate. I see that another movie is in the works, and I personally feel it's time to let this go. Ice Age was great but it's now going on too long and the good ideas have run out.
