Wasted Love

What happens when you pour your complete heart in something that nothing comes out of it but magic? This is how I feel after reading this book. It is simply a magical journey which will take you to different phases of being in love and coming out of it.Wasted Love is not one of those books which will make you question your current relationship as the title is slightly suggesting it. Before diving deep into this book, I thought that it is going to be disturbing ( as the title is "Wasted Love" ) but I was so wrong. There are poems related to love which was toxic for you but overall, this book gives you hope for a better tomorrow and more than that, this book ends with poems related to self-love. Self-love is most important of all!The book is a collection of poems and it is divided into four parts - Gateway, Addiction, Withdrawal and Rehabilitation. To say that I enjoyed every part would be an understatement because it felt like I "Lived" every page of this book. I am not even kidding.Every poem is written carefully that it connects you with it. Even if you have never read a poetry book before, you can give this one a try.People can sense things. People can sense when you are being fake and when you are being your genuine self. Similarly, readers have the sense to know when the author is faking emotions and when the author is pouring their heart. The beauty of the poems cannot be just simply put into words. This book is the most relatable and relevant book I have read in a long time.Every poem in this book has a different structure and they carry their meanings so well. There are some poems in this book which comes with a warning as they are likely to trigger some people. I was so happy to see that author has mentioned about those poems with trigger warnings in the starting only. Poems with * in this book are the ones which may trigger people mentally and so if you feel triggered with some subjects then kindly move ahead and skip reading those poems.I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves reading poems. This book is meant to be cherished and you won't regret reading it. Also just look at the cover art of this book, I couldn't take my eyes off of this cover. It is simply a masterpiece and I am glad that I got to read this recently.

I just want to thank the author for sharing her life and allowing us to walk through her journey. This book was an easy, interesting read too since the poetries are in chronological order. I read it more than twice and gave me different emotions each time. 10/10 would recommend❤️

What an incredible book! This collection of poems is relatable and raw. You can tell it was written from the heart and every ounce of emotion carefully went in to each and every poem clever poem. I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with love, loss or their vices. Must read.
