Rothco Waxed Canvas Shoulder Duffle Bag

This 24" bag is ideal for packing tent and tent poles. I'm able to fit tent, rainfly, poles and an extra (hooch builders) tarp into one bag. Sturdy (thick) cotton and heavy-duty metal zipper.

I got this bag for a recent 4 day weekend trip and it was perfect. Holds just enough clothes for a 4 day trip and not take up a bunch os space in the car. The stitching is strong and the material won't tear or stretch with even mildly rough use. It's a good travel bag.

Love the design of the bag and how tough the material is. I am looking for a long association and use of this bag as a gig bad for band equipment. Love the zipper action and the convenient wide reinforced handles

It's not waxed but it is quite durable. I've had mine for years, washed it more than a hundred times, and it looks fresh.

I have had this bag for a few months and I’ve put it through travel hell. It’s worth the ticket.

It's been nearly five years now. This bag is still basically as good as new. It's perfect for airplane carry-on. I've never once had a problem with the zippers. No fraying or tearing anywhere. I'll update in another 5 years or so, but this might have been a "buy it for life" purchase.

I've had this bad for 6 months at this point and am extremely happy with the purchase. I'm using it as a gym bag. It easily holds my change of clothes, towel, shoes, and extra gym stuff. Has been durable and I don't expect anything to break anytime soon as it is built extremely well. It does only have one side pocket, which some might find a tad small, however it suits my needs. If this bag ever gives up the ghost, I'll be buying the same one again. 5 out of 5.

Initial thoughts: Several people questioned whether theirs were the waxed canvas model. I can't speak for them, but mine is. 100% cotton, made in India. Stitching looks good. No flaws seen.
