I know and have read stories of couples who have this kind of relationship dynamic, and they do not have this unfair and unbalanced power- control. No one is on top of the other. They both are equal partners. They fairly share the management of the household, the care of the children, and the finances. The husband simply enjoys watching his wife getting pleasure provided by other men knowing well enough that she is "his." As from the wife's perspective, she enjoys the sex and the masculinity of her husband. There are stay-at-home moms, who because they are home while their husbands work, do most of the household work and enjoy this kind of dynamic relationship where there are allowed to have sex with other men. This book basically states the women are on top and the men are submissive. Cockholding doesn't necessarily have much to do with power and control. It is more about sex.
