Vintage Pat Walsh
The action tears across the world still good entertainment in the dreamspace life style. Like to have seen more team action as in most past books. I eagerly await these books.

Yacht Assassin
Intriguing story that keeps the reader flipping pages. Excellent characters, great writing and a luxury yacht fitted with missiles. Good mix for a spy tale.

Like the first four books, The Q Dilemma, not so much.
Let me start by saying I have read all of the Pat Walsh books by James Lawrence and I have enjoyed them in an escapism kind of way. They are a little over the top violent sometimes but still a good read. The characters are pretty well developed and I found myself actually like most of them. In short, I have enjoyed his books... until “The Q Dilemma”.On that one, in my opinion, Mr. Lawrence has jumped the shark. I began to get uncomfortable when he started with the “QAnon”, (who in the book are the good guys) and “the Deep State”, (which are the bad guys trying to overthrow the president), and then it really got strange. Although Lawrence does not say the president is tRump, it is implied, (ie. Washington DC insiders don't like him and he is being impeached), and the QAnon people, (Pat's friend, Mike ), have to stop the Deep State or the world will fall into hell.It finishes, (Spoiler Alert), with Pat Walsh, the hero, murdering three members of the Federal Reserve Board because they are “Deep State” and they are going to raise the interest rate to tank the President's economy or something. (LOL, tRump's economy!) This story line did not end with “The Q Dilemma”, the mastermind is still alive, so it will continue...Anyway, I'm sorry, but that's it for me. Although, I will kinda miss Pat and Migo but I'm done.
