This shofar holder was perfect for a long rams horn and the plastic is very clear.

I'd like to give 5 stars for the design and quality, but it did not really fit my new shofar well, which is about 24" long. I ordered the 32-36" shofar, guessing that I would need the large size stand, and I could have used a taller one to accomodate the curvature. It looks beautiful on the stand, made by the same company. The stand is a little bit wobbly, maybe because of the size of the shofar. If I had known this in advance, I still would have ordered it if I couldn't find any taller stand that looks as good. We will just be careful about setting the shofar in it, so it won't tumble out. Our main problem is that other people will have access to it, who might not get the word to be careful about the position.

I really like these acrylic stands. The shofar looks like it’s floating and nothing distracts from the beauty of the piece. I did add a small strip of felt to the edge that contacts the shofar which is helpful to secure the shofar and protect the surface. I liked these so much I purchased three of these, two medium and one large. Do remember to remove the taped on protective plastic otherwise instead of a clear stand yours will be opaque. A helpful tip is to use the sharp tip of a razor blade to catch the very corner of the base. Once you catch plastic and raise a small section it peels off easily.

Simple & easy to put together.4 stars because it had some scratches but its fine.

It's a toilet seat... It feels sturdy and not plasticky. The "brushed nickel" looks to be painted on so not sure how long it will last.

At first I was disappointed by how foggy the holder was until I realized it had a film coating that you pull off of the plexiglass. (it is quiet satisfying) My new shofar arrived yesterday. I placed it on the fireplace mantle and was excited to elevate it in this holder. The shofar spins right out and will not "sit" in the holder due to it's natural twist. No matter how I try to maneuver a position it won't work.The fix was to put a small piece of clear, 2-sided tape on the curved part on each side of the holder where the shofar meets the plexi. Maybe if one side of the holder was higher than the other side, it may work. I saw one like that and decided to get this one instead, but I made it work.

I like that is is clear.

Perfect for the display of antique powder horns. The first one came with no instructions whatsoever, so I had to read a customer review to learn that there is a protective film which must be peeled off or it can't be assembled. Once that is learned, the subsequent ones were a snap to assemble. The subsequent ones all came with admonitions to remove the protective film. These are great for my use, but a bit pricey if you want more than one. Great! Quick delivery!
