I lost my OEM oil cap while riding shortly after doing an oil change. I tried to find one locally but nobody had one that would fit. One shop stuffed a section of radiator tube with a paper towel and plugged the hole so that I could at least get home. This cap fit my 2006 FZ1 perfectly and is a lot sturdier than the plastic one I had before. I also like that this has a hole drilled into the tab so that I can tie it to the frame in case this happens again.

So this product works well the thread seems to be a -3B i'd say with out measuring it since it fits a lot tighter than the original. The bad it came with the hole not deburred which means if you tighting it without deburring it you will slice a finger. If you debur it you take the color off. So the QA control does not seem to be super great but other than that the product so far works great.

Looks and performs as good as factory piece. I have had in on the bike for a few weeks now and now leaks or seepage.
