Wiring and cable might not be the flashiest part of a security system but it is a critical part of the overall solution. There are plenty of things to consider when selecting and installing wire and cable to ensure your security system works optimally. At a minimum, wire will be used to provide power to your camera installation and most of the time, wire is also used to transmit the video camera signal back to the DVR. Picture Quality is Great Does not Fit my DVR
I purchased this based on a recommendation that it would fit my Qsee DVR that goes with my security system. It does not. It has all the right pieces but it will not clip in no matter what the installers or I tried. So that was disappointing. I did not need the sound connection so that is not being used. What we did was slide it on the DVR connector until we got a picture and secured it using electrical tape. Not ideal but the installers were here and I had to figure out something. The picture quality is much better using this connector than on that cameras with the original connectors. If it had connected to my system like it was supposed to I would have paid the money to have all the cameras upgraded with these connector cables as the picture quality looks like HD. I deducted one star due to the connection issue as on occasion it disconnects and I have to tape it again to the DVR connector. If it connected as promised I would have given it 5 stars.

Horrible noise in the image that looks like ghosting
Horrible noise in the image that looks like ghosting. QSEE cable from kit works fine but as soon as you use this to extend the image is very poor. Only running over grass so not sure of any other RF source that may cause the issue. Extended with QSEE OEM cables to resolve issue.

The 60ft bnc security extension cable was half the price of any other cable with the same specsFrom retail stores, it is also made with a thicker cable than my original, which led to it's failure. these cables are so thin they might deteriorate before you get them installed. save your money and buy a roll and the tools to make your own. seriously you will be replacing these often.

I had bought the actual Night Owl cable 2 pack before buying these and paid 3 times as much. I would say these are the exact cables minus the packing. I would highly recommend getting these versus the more expensive night owl ones. They work exactly the same..
